ALERT: They steal money and don’t reply
SLIKR duplicated a charge and said they’d investigate, 2 months later and numerous follow ups I haven’t received a reply. Don’t use this app, pay your barber directly. Criminals.
Could be so much better
This sort of does what it’s meant to but it’s just so annoying. Every time i open the app it prompts me to update, even though there’s no update available. I have a starred barber but it never shows in the list. When I search for the barber it shows barbers in another country until I type in the complete name.

Favourites are not saved anywhere, search is required every time. Cancelling a booking makes it impossible to book with a shop ever again as it still shows as ‘booked’ and can’t select a new time.
needs to refresh on selecting
On starting the app, it remembers the two barbers from last month, however the one i selected is no longer there, so i selected the other one. after confirming the booking, i can now see there are four barbers and others are available sooner. That list should have been updated with the available times when i selected the shop.

Mandatory location
The app says it’s to find your nearest barber, but to make it mandatory is BS. Other apps you can type a postcode or they give you the OPTION for GPS location. But this app won’t even run without GPS location active. Creepy af and probably selling your location data like Facebook etc
Really great app
This is a really great app for making bookings online I personally use it for clippy t’s great app I highly recommend downloading it and maybe even check in to clippy t’s🙂
Why?
This app is impossible to use. It has made me want to go to a new barber shop because it is more trouble than its worth to use this app.
BS location requirement
I know my barber. Why can't I select it without enabling location services? It's lazy at best, and intrusive at worst. How did Apple approve this?
App crashes every time I try to open it
App opens for a short while and then crashes, whenever I try to re-open the app it crashes immediately again. Running latest ios. Please fix.
Could be good but...
App is unstable. Tried to book yesterday but got an object error on app and website. A few hours later when this disappeared when I hit confirm it didn’t do anything but when I tried again. It remembers the price of previous booking and added to time and price. Who knows what would have happened it if had worked. I needed to be sure of booking so had to delay, eventually 4hours it worked. I object to the barber and me being charged for a process that is so difficult. This is the usual story, not a one off. Great when it works, but it usually (3 times out of 4) doesn’t.

Crashes so much it is unusable
Sort this and the chop chop app out. The apps both crash instantly. Not possible to book through the app and this was such a good idea when it worked!

Just loaded up and made a booking all went pretty well.
When I searched for my barber there was no indication I already had an appointment with them just a join the queue button.
I can see it in my bookings however it would be cool to be able to see my booking when looking at my barbers page.
Other than that seems like a solid start.

Not working properly
Unable to view appointment progress or booking history at all , regardless if I am logged into Slikr app or facebook.
When I check booking history I am told “I need
“view reservation “ permission to access this functionality .
I have updated my iphone , the slikr app and my facebook account and still have had the same issue ever since I installed the “SLIKR” app over 12 months ago
Dont see the point of this app if you cant check your appointment progress , which was the whole idea of this app in the first place???
Hope a better app comes out soon.

Love the app but have an issue
So when I’ve chosen my cut and also my barber, once I tap on the time slot, the app just crashes, help? I’ve deleted the app and downloaded it several times but same thing happens. I’ve also tried turning off my phone but still the same thing.

Why bother
If you enjoy being turned away from a deserted place of business because it’s booked out before you arrive, with customers that are not actually there, this is the app for you. Why have actual queues with real people, when you can queue while not actually being there. Virtually rubbish.
No more queues!
Fantastic app with a number of stores online now. Can't wait for more to catch up with modern times.
