Only paid version available
I’m not doing that, nor am I doing a free trial just to use this once.
It looks nice from the demo, like audacity packaged up but as a paid version.

Hello Soren356fbjh - as per the app description "Due to Apple's distribution policies, free trials require a subscription selection. If you would like to try Smaart RTA before you buy, start with a subscription, then cancel it to avoid billing.". There is a Lifetime option which does not have reoccurring billing, however (again this is Apple's policy, not Rational Acoustics) a subscription selection is the only way to access a free trial. Otherwise, yes this is a paid app. No Ads, not data selling, no arbitrary limitations to encourage upgrades. We are confident that the pricing we have chosen matches the apps value at the various (6 possible) pricing tiers and hope that you will give us another shot in the future! Best - RA

Thank you for the candid feedback. Pricing transparency is something we take seriously, and is why all pricing is including in the app description. It is Apples policy that free trial periods are only available for apps that use subscription sales models - which we detail in the description. Smaart RTA is listed as "Free" due to this policy, which is coincidentally why we cannot offer a free trial for the Lifetime selection - Apple doesn't allow it. That said, we completely understand your frustration, but are confident that the pricing we have chosen matches the apps value at the various (6 possible) pricing tiers and hope that you will reconsider in the future.
