Great app

1 Star only because it costs money when it used to be free. A great app though, I am a coach and use it to record game and practice video at a good resolution with respect to size/clarity. Much better than a camcorder

Needs to save previous resolution choice.

If it would’ve my last choice of resolution I’d pay for the app upgrade.
I’m uninstalling now. If you add this feature, email me! nussjunk -at- gmail dot com

FAQ

What does the Small Size Video Recorder app do?

This app allows you to record videos with selectable resolutions and bitrates, resulting in smaller file sizes. It helps conserve your device's storage space, enabling you to record longer videos without worrying about running out of memory. The app also offers various advanced camera controls for an enhanced recording experience.

How does the app reduce video file size?

The app reduces video file size by allowing you to choose specific resolutions (from 1080p down to 360p) and output bitrates, ranging from 16.2Mbps to 0.25Mbps. By selecting lower bitrates, the amount of data per second of video is reduced, leading to smaller files.

What are the limitations of the free version?

The free version of the app allows you to record videos that are shorter than 20 seconds. To remove this recording duration restriction and record videos of any length, you will need to upgrade to the formal version through an in-app purchase.

Can I try recording longer videos before buying?

Yes, new users can record videos of any duration twice for a trial. This allows you to experience the full functionality of recording longer videos before deciding to upgrade to the formal version.

What camera features are supported?

The app supports continuous autofocus, the ability to lock AE, AF, and Auto White Balance with a long press, pinch-to-zoom functionality, and realtime video stabilization. It also supports portrait and landscape orientation recording and allows you to add location tags.
