Easy to use. You are not able to search specific ingredients to find substitutions. There is a very limited amount of information.

Smart Chef Substitutions
I bought this App for one particular item I cannot source, alas this item is not included in the ingredients!
It would be nice to have a search option rather than having to second guess which category contains the item you are looking to substitute.
These issues aside it is a nice facility to have especially when living in a place where the ingredients you are used to having readily available are simply not on the supermarket shelves.

Good Concept ... Needs Work
The number of substitutions is limited with very few customization options. Without significant increase in the number and variety of substitutions offered, I can't recommend.

Not enough herb choices
How about for herbs you don't use regularly like cumin? Most of the categories seem sparse and I would not have bought this if I had seen the limited selections.
