On the Free Version, you can only turn the light and off, any other feature (including deleting a light) requires a $5.00 a week subscription or a $50 a year subscription. WHAT A JOKE

This app is difficult to use and has terrible ease of access
A functionally useless app sold by a deceitful company
First of all the app won’t even let you pair your lights unless you pay a weekly subscription. And after pairing them you are limited to bluetooth only AND they require the app to be open at all times for the routines to work?? Absolutely useless garbage and they have the audacity to make this a paid app when the OEM app that comes with your lights is 1000x better.
Do not sign up for the free trial it just takes you to the normal subscription screen and charges you full price. What a deceitful company. And on top of all this Apple refuses to refund me even though I have proof that I was scammed because I was screen recording the whole time. Apple should be ashamed for defending garbage like this.

Terrible
You have to pay for it and no matter what you do the limited version doesn’t hardly let you do anything. Don’t buy unless you are really going to enjoy it and use it.

DON’T DOWNLOAD!!
I downloaded this believing I had a weeks free trial. The app was so bad that I cancelled the trial after a few days of frustration. Despite this my CC was hit for a week’s subscription!! …and Apple won’t refund me the money. NB once I FINALLY got the light connected to the app my light was SO DIM even at 100% bright setting. I now have Mirabella Genio app which is FREE and works like a charm.

I would not recommend this app at all. Took my money and will not respond to request for refund 15 min later
Not govee home
Not sure why this is the number one search hit. It is not the govee home app. Baits you into paying for a subscription. Not worth it at any price as far as I’m concerned. Borderline deceptive on the app stores part.
CYNC Lights
The corner of my lights are pink and all the other lights are white. They will not change to any other color. I even had to pay for premium for me to be able to connect the lights to the app for control. I have to reconnect everytime I want to dim or brighten the lights. I wasted my money with these.

Why in the world do I need a monthly or yearly subscription to use a lightbulb. This is absolutely insane.
worst lighting app
You can’t even change the colors and mostly everything is locked away from a subscription. I don’t have an actual remote to use so I have to use my phone, and the app seems like it’s mostly promoting you to use it with videos and music because those are the 2 constant pop ups you will receive. The app is extremely confusing and has little direction. I don’t even know where or how to change the colors so my lights are stuck on red. Do not recommend!

First app that pops up when trying to do hi space, yet it wants $5 a week and some other stupid amount monthly or yearly. Skip this app and get what goes with your products. Shouldn’t have even clicked on this one but hey. We live and learn, or don’t. Whatever live your life.

$80 for nothing
I tried to get a different app and accidentally installed this one. At first I believed the extra $80 was a part of the leds that I bought however the led lights I bought used a different app and I stupidly purchased the premium on this app. I tried to refund my purchase but the AI tool was useless. I believe that even Sherlock Holmes couldn’t find out where the order history button is. No way to check my account and No way to possibly get a refund. Not worth it.

Overpriced generic bulb with ads
Absolutely not worth a single penny. The app demands entirely too much access to unnecessary bs. Non stop pop ups to subscribe ARE YOU KIDDING?! These people want minimum $5 PER WEEK-to use a bulb we already paid for and if we don’t we have an overpriced great value brand bulb with slop and spam ads just to turn it on and off because we get zero feature that again we’ve already paid for.

I love the lights but you have to pay for everything in the app you have to pay to change the color you have to pay to TURN THEM OFF which is stupid I’m about to just replace them with dollar tree lights at this point it’s absurd to pay 60$ to turn your lights off or subscribe which is dumb
