Great logbook

Very initiative user interface compared to log10. I would even like it more if you add the ability to input waypoints instead of just airports!

Enfin un carnet de vol simple et efficace

Très facile à prendre en main, les 50 premières heures offertes sont parfaites pour s’en rendre compte, et un achat unique à vie ensuite est très apprécié (c’est une des raisons principales du choix de cette application, la quasi totalité des autres ne proposant qu’un abonnement)

Mostly good

Lots of features without annoying and crazy expensive subscriptions like other apps. But comes with it’s downsides: rare updates (some airports missing like VDTI, which I personally uploaded), some small but frustrating bugs (multiple sectors during one day sorted by name, not by time of departure) and bug reporting requires additional registration on some 3rd party website, which is a bother.

Upd. To solve sorting issue you have to select UTC dates in settings. Otherwise it uses local dates by default and this creates a sorting issue.

Great App

I’ve been using this app since 2017 and I love it! Very easy to set up all fields, totals, currents, whatever… Also it’s easy to transfer all data from one platform to another, best support ever! Good luck to the team and thank you for Smart Logbook!

Been with Smart Logbook for a couple of years, very impressed with great customer service, if you don’t find a result in the help section just email them and you will get a reply and a solution, if that doesn’t work the developer will try to solve your problem personally.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

An sich eine sehr gute App, genau das was ich gesucht habe. Es wäre allerdings cool, wenn es automatisch die normalen Flugzeiten für eine Strecke ergänzt, falls man sie nicht selbst eingibt. Außerdem wäre es gut, wenn bei der Startseite die Flüge nach Jahr getrennt werden. Also einfach ein bisschen übersichtlicher. Auch cool wäre es, wenn bei der Karte die Flugrichtung angezeigt wird, die man geflogen ist. Wenn diese simplen Ideen umgesetzt werden kann ich 5 Sterne geben :)

Problems

Why I add flights, but the logbook add my flights like simulator flight??????? I spend hours do solve this problem but nothing to work Do some thing with this problem

I'm sorry about the trouble you're having! If your flights are being logged as sim sessions, it's possible you've accidentally changed one of your aircraft models to a simulator. Like many other apps, Smart Logbook is free to download but requires an in-app purchase for unlimited functionality. This is clearly stated in the App Store description and multiple places in the app, which are visible when you begin logging flights. We strongly believe that Smart Logbook is worth paying for, and we have never tried to hide the fact that it requires purchase. -Keith

Best Pilot Logbook

Its the best Logbook app I have used till date.
Easy to use, customisable, works offline, and everything one requires!
The developers are also very responsive adding to the seamless experience.
One can easily backup their flights using SmartLogBook.

Great app. Highly customizable

This app is probably the best I found on the App Store for a good price. I like how customizable the different categories are. It makes it easy to track both my manned (civi) and unmanned (civi/military) time. The currency section is extremely useful as well. My only recommendation would be to allow custom names in the create an airport option. Using it for UAS were not always taking off and landing at an airport. Especially with VTOL being the new hot airframe option of choice.

Just finishing flight training

Just now going for my mei cfii. I’m a fan of the hard paper logbook but the dreadful audits… this app categorizes your time the way I thought one should. Then you can filter all your time/flights for certain specific criteria. And a one time payment. 15 seconds to log a flight on my phone

Awesome Product

I’ve used Smart Logbook for about 4 years now all up across a few devices and it is just so handy to access particular hours for a rating or license and logging a flight just after I’ve shutdown the airplane. You can even add hour types which is great for me in New Zealand where we have all sorts of different hours you log.

I’ve changed across a few devices and the support provided is amazing, always easy to deal with and it’s sorted in no time.

Great product great service. Really a no brainer even as just a backup for a logbook which is what I really use it for.
