Great concept but…
Kinda useless for free

You can now see income brackets for free, and an annual subscription at a significant discount just went live. Most layers are still free, but some require an upgrade because we don't want to run ads. A lot of benefits come with the subscription
Overpriced
The 3 stars is for the unrealistic price, I’d be happy to watch an add to add a premium filter, but not pay $10/month.

Most features/layers are free, but we don't plan to cheapen the experience with ads right now. An annual tier at a discount is pending approval from Apple so will be live soon, and we're continuing to add in more features that a subscription gets you. Appreciate the feedback
Nice idea and design

Thanks - glad you find it useful

It was overhauled to have a framework that moves beyond just the niche of census info - I agree it's worse right now in some ways if you focus solely on browsing census. That said, census subcategories will come back in, and the sorting algorithm will get very strong over time as more people use the app, as will search. You can also switch to the list view for faster scrolling. Also, some really interesting census layers were added, like ancestry, and are all updated to the latest census year, so census is still getting lots of love. The map, like other apps, will be dramatically slower the first time you load an area, because it doesn't use local cache. Be sure to send future suggestions along using the contact page too
Tremendously Useful

If you like maps this is for you.

Cool
The doesn’t work

Fixed. Was probably due to a weak internet connection, so now there's feedback signaling that
Great app for many reasons!

Appreciate it! Correction though - you can drill down much more than county level though, especially in populated areas like New York County where the county is sliced into 1292 sub-geographies (census block groups being the base unit). Less true in the midwest and less populated areas though.
