Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Smart Maps at 75% against Co's 0%. Smart Maps also leads on ratings volume (9 vs 1). Co's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart Maps sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Co asks for nothing beyond the download.
Co holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart Maps has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Co's written reviews are positive against 75% of Smart Maps's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Co ships an update every 8 days, Smart Maps monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
