this is definitely a waste of money
i bought this so that i could use the smart scan printer applications. it does not allow me to scan or do anything else with it. i have a MacBook and an Epson workforce pro scanner. There is no way to report a bug and/or talk with someone else about it or get a refund. i have had this installed less than one hour and i tried everything to make these features interact with each other and the printer

Epson 2980 on an iMac
Brand new to epson printers, very difficult setup instructions. Poorly done. Now into 4th hour of set up and is finally doing an 11 min initialization process. Had to call epson tech support. They were nice but not friendly. You do need to download drivers from Epson so to update printer to latest driver version, that is not noted on any single sheet of printer instructions. Printer won’t connect to network automatically as I thought. Not impressed. Would not recommend this app or printer to any Mac user
