The app is clean and shows meetings near me. For those that find AA isn’t their thing, give Smart a shot. Unfortunately there are not many meetings but that will change.

I don’t understand why SMART doesn’t publish their handbook for free online and in the app.
Search Options
The app is okay but it would be soooo much better if you could search by filters other than location first and foremost, as most of the meetings are available remotely.
I am LBGTQIA and struggle to find meetings with other queer folks because the search makes you start with location.
Still better than Christian-based AA but hoping the group sees this and makes appropriate adjustments.

Best recovery app yet
Great design and wealth of resources

This app will catch on. I’m sure of it. The new update was a fresh take. I bet I’ll see a lot more reviews as time goes on
Love the new app redesign & love SMART
The fresh app design is much more practical and usable, and gives new life to the exercises in the SMART toolkit. I appreciate the investment in better app development!
SMART has been personally life-changing/life-improving, and I personally know literally dozens of people whose lives have been similarly improved by the secular, scientific approach (often most useful for those of us who were rubbed the wrong way by one or more aspects of Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous).
I personally didn't get any benefit from trying to put my recovery in the hands of a "higher power", but I don't mind that some people do. I'm just grateful that SMART Recovery exists for people like me, because it's been incredibly empowering, clarifying, and motivating for me on my journey.
3+ years free from the grip of my drug of choice, and I have nothing but gratitude to SMART and its volunteers for helping me get here.

You need a meeting. You find a meeting. This app makes the whole process so easy. Great, seamless user interface.
This app is truly awesome.
As a person in recovery since September 2018, this app has helped me stay focused, sober and motivated, and I’m training to be mental health and addictions support worker. I honestly can’t recommend this app enough; its phenomenal.
