Works with my sony bravo tv. 2016 model
So far so good. I had to go through the help instructions to set it up, but works fine so far.
To the programmer: 2 alterations needed to this app. 1: It needs an option to fit on the iphone x screen or regular iphone screen. As it is now, the size of the app is to big for the screen and you have to scroll up and down. Hopefully that change can be programed in.
2: program in to work off of the same wifi as the hard wired network. Because our phones are wifi but we want our TV to be hard wired for fiber connection speed, that option needs programmed in as i would prefer not to have my tv on wifi only. Thanks. Kevin J

The interface looks like a photocopy of a Sony remote and does not work.

I have tried other remote, and they work with no problem. This one, doesn’t do anything with my Sony Bravia. I will say, that my Bravia is older than a 2015. But I don’t understand why some of the features still don’t work. Not worth five bucks for this.
Complete failure
I was attracted by the interface looking exactly the same as the remote supplied with TV. But the app doesn’t function, neither with my XBR65X900C (July 2015) nor my XBR65X850D (August 2016) both later than the warning saying App is not compatible with Sony TV’s made before 2015.
It shouldn’t cost $5 to find out an App doesn’t work. There should be a trial period (14 days?)to verify functionality after which you pay or not as the case may be.
