That is such a relief to hear, Mandernchief! We completely get it—spending money on a subscription just to turn off a TV during a short vacation stay makes zero sense. Having to cycle through a dozen paywalled apps just to find basic controls is a huge hassle, so we're thrilled our app came through for you at the Airbnb! We keep the essential remote features completely free so anyone caught without a physical remote can jump right in and control their set without unexpected charges.
