Disastrous
Previous versions of this app just about worked, though sometimes it would take three or four goes to deactivate the alarm because the app would not connect to the system. The latest update (mid-June2021) broke it completely; it does not even fire up (this on two different and recent models IPhone XS and XR). I would say don’t ever use it, except none of us get a choice, we are captive users.

Awful
Keeps wiping credentials then the video & other instructions don’t correspond to menus & options. Constantly having to reregister & being locked out. Terrible user experience.
June 2020 - update arrived.
Still woefully primitive. Reflects terribly on the premium priced Banham Alarm product and service. Hard to say more.

Update needed
The app has been very unstable since the ios update. Every use ends up in an error code 1and the need to hard restert my ipad. Please update.
Absolutely unacceptable app
It simply doesn’t works, I wasted so much time on trying and trying. Really unacceptable.
Unacceptable app
As other reviewers have mentioned this app is a total joke — constantly crashing or being otherwise unstable. We have complained to Banham multiple times but they don’t seem to care — our impression is that they rely on their reputation to attract customers and since changing to another home security company is not trivial (one needs to reinstall all the sensors etc. to switch to another company) they don’t bother to provide a robust app.

Very poor
This App is awful. Constantly crashes and so clunky to use. For such a reputable company and alarm system (not to mention the price) you would think that this would have been updated by now? When will it be? It’s seriously needs to be!

Connections keep cutting out and are slow to establish. Arming and disarming the alarm takes the sort of time that would be fine in pre-3G days.
You have to put in a PIN which is a bit behind the times when you have touch and Face ID. Also when doing so it is easy to switch the function to save the app password which results in digging up the paperwork to put it in again.
Still, Banham thinks that it is good so that’s ok. And it works which is the main thing.
