Gets repetitive
It is fun and interesting in the beginning. The stories are around 2 minutes long. I just don’t see how there is any AI involvement in this. The stories are all the same. It just changes the name of the location, food, and animal. Other than that it’s the same storyline. Kid has pet animal that they are close to, they go to a magical location, defeat a monster using a food to get a treasure. Kid and animal become closer friends.

No Divine Spark
What Did You Expect From Ai I’d rather read Maurice Sendak, Brothers Grimm, Aesop’s fables, Brothers Grimm, Judy Blume or whatever human source to my children than accept this generic blathering and non-sensical garbage.
No variety
No custom characters based on my kids photos. No original input. Seems like it just takes slight variations of the same story-arc, based on 3 inputs and turns it into different variants.

Cheeseburgers for monsters
I thought we were going to have cheeseburgers in an ancient library. Instead, Fox decided to give the cheeseburgers to a dragon. I’m still really upset about the cheeseburgers and would like a refund.

Dealbreaker on step 1
Please do some research on the gender spectrum and update your app’s opening gender selection requirement. Language evolves and tech is more than able to keep up.
Gender error
I tried to find a “gender” option that fits my child but the app only gives “male and female” (which according to science are not gender options but rather medically sex assigned) as a result the story it created used incorrect pronouns and misrepresented my child. If the developers are interested in connecting with 21st century families they should google what “gender” means, and offer various pronouns choices instead of “male vs female” sex choices.

What a great app! We just downloaded this app and my 8 year old can’t stop creating her own stories using SmartDreams. In just minutes she created an entire library of her own stories! Love that stories can be saved to read over and over again. Such a fantastic way to tap into kid’s big imagination and wonder! My daughter loves feeling part of the story! She’s having so much fun choosing the cute characters for her stories and gets excited very excited with each beautiful image that shows her as a character in the story. I highly recommend this app! Can’t believe it’s FREE! A great way to build a bedtime routine but also a fun app to use for reading and building creative writing skills. Thanks to the mom and dad team that created this! I think other parents will love this app too!

My kids and I have been trying this app for a few nights now! They have loved the idea of creating unique stories that not only includes them but also their favorite animals and food!
