Broken!
Has been broken for weeks. Barely works with my Ometa AC unit. Literally have to quit and restart the app all the time. Says the machine isn’t reachable. I restart and it works. Then it can’t reach it again. Then I restart and it works. Just terrible in every way.
Difficult to Use
Out of all my smart device apps, this is the most difficult 1 to use. It’s very difficult to add new devices or add them after they’re deleted.
GET RID OF THE AI GARBAGE
This app used to be great but for whatever reason they added an ai assist called tuna or smthg. It’s so annoying! Let me opt out and use my lightbulbs without tuna asking if I need help.

Any app that abuses notifications gets DELETED
Awful functionality
Even ignoring the atrocious AI integration, the app altogether stopped working a week ago and I havn't been able to restore functionality. ALL I want is to have two lights turn off and on at specific times, and this "advanced" app with ai controls suddenly stopped working and I havn't been able to fix it. And there's no support, either.

Smart plugs are Not working suddenly
I have been using Smart Plugs for close to an year, but suddenly few days before all my Smart plugs are stopped working, and unable to add it back. In Google Home as well it’s showing with warning icon.
Stop shoe horning AI where it isn’t wanted
Meant for controlling devices. But the developer insists on shoe horning a pointless AI assistant where it isn’t needed or wanted. There should be an option to disable this. I don’t need a “how can I help you” prompt on the screen for an on off switch. Or course, one thing it can’t tell me is how to remove the pointless AI from this app.

Day picker not working
While changing Rain day it never get changed by picker of the day or cancel it not working at all day picker not working as well as toggling from on to off schedules of daily timer is not working
Devices disappear
Devices will disappear on a regular basis. And it is very difficult if not impossible to find them to put them back.
How the hell it works?!
It dose it give such good steps on how to work it for the curtain lights. Like what the round cable for?! And why it won’t connect at all. Even temu has better stuff that this peice of trash.

would not waste your money, the product itself sucks and the app is worse, barely functions and is constantly disconnecting, and uses ai slop technology (probably why it never works)
Fake Amazon
Said things were free like I said mess messaging and phone. It does not text you or call your phone without you subscribing to an app which cost money. The Amazon app said it did not. I’m returning my product. Have fun.
Can't adjust brightness anymore
I've had this app working fine for years, but all of a sudden I can't change the brightness of my ceiling light anymore when it's in white light mode. RGB brightness works fine, but every time I try to adjust the brightness of the white light mode it just changes the temperature instead.
Update Killed My Vacuum
The July 4 app update killed my vacuum. Worked fine but now nothing. Bricked my robot vacuum

No longer usable after 6 years
I have used this app and associated lights and plugs for 6 years. The most recent ai update wiped all my connected appliances and will not reconnect no matter the volume of effort put into it. Any attempts at getting support are met with a useless AI bot. I will be recycling my electronics and replacing them with bulbs from a different company. Truly repugnant by the development team.

What happened????
Does this work? Yeah. Does it work like it SHOULD? No. I've been using this for many years and it just keeps getting worse instead of better. So many times I go into a favorite and start to do something and boom, it switches all by itself to another favorite. What this has done is, often, instead of turning off my pool to perform maintainance, it shuts off my 3D printers mid-print. Thankfully the printers have the ability to pickup where they left off, but there have been times it's ruined a lengthy print. Like, I will literally be looking at the pool switch and had the correct one open, give pause because I know it does this, and then tap off and boom, not the pool anymore.... FIX IT!

AI Slop
I downloaded this app so that I can control the lights in my living room. I do NOT need another “AI assistant” and tons of advertisements in an app that should serve a simple purpose.
v7.9.0 Previous Bug Has Returned! Can’t adjust device display order for Apple Watch!
This bug was originally fixed in v5.14.2 but has since returned after an app facelift.
Previously we could rearrange the order of devices displayed on the Watch by rearranging their order on the SmartLife app HOME page. You’d press & hold a device and slide it up or down to rearrange its position in the SmartLife app and it would update on the Watch afterwards.
But now that the SmartLife HOME page has been changed to resizable widgets, it no longer updates the order on the Watch.
Please fix this!
