Update Ruined Everything
Lights were great for almost two years. Since most recent update they go offline dozens of times per day. I’m at the end of my rope!

New update broke app
Nothing works now. All the groups and scenes I created after hours and nothing works. I really hope they fix this quickly.
Just..bad
I use this app to control my automatic litter boxes. When the litter boxes stopped working all of a sudden—I had to follow the tutorial regarding wiping the sensors and rearranging the trash bags in the waste bin. Didn’t work. Threw the litter robot out and switched back to traditional litter boxes. This app and its products are complete scams

Poor interface
After months of problem free usage App showed user logged in that was not me. Now won’t let me login as me. It says system busy try again 30 minutes. Right.
Disappointing
I use this app to control an aurora projector but there is no way I can see to save my setup preferences for the projector so every time I open the app and turn on the projector I have to set all the setting again. A real shame, it could be great.
Poorly engineered
Device I bought was a soil sensor. It’s not even on their list. Spent a lot of time trying to make it work. It never did work. It’s useless wast of money
Terrible App and Hardware Experience
The user interface of this app feels like it was designed without any consideration for actual user needs.
Where things should be simple and functional, there are missing features, but where simplicity is needed, the app forces you through unnecessary extra steps, annoying confirmation pop-ups, and useless animations instead of a simple, static button. I use the imartine D16S Max robot vacuum, and the experience has been extremely disappointing. Scheduled cleanings frequently fail to trigger.
The robot simply doesn't start at the set time.
Moving the charging dock requires rebuilding the entire map from scratch instead of updating the dock's position.
When splitting rooms, the line spawns in a fixed default location instead of where you zoomed in.
You have to drag both endpoints individually while zooming in and out repeatedly.
The minimum restriction zone size (1m x 1m) is unnecessarily huge for a 30cm vacuum.
The LED light on the charging dock shines directly into the robot while docking, blinding its LiDAR and causing docking failures.
A significant amount of dust remains on the filter, and the dust, hair, and debris that got sucked onto the filter's protective mesh/screen stay trapped there.

I hate this after the "improvements"
Now that SmartLife has " improved " and switched to AI, it is no longer usable for what used to be simple seasonal light adjustments.
If simplicity is what you desire, avoid this. I'm deleting the app, trashing the plugs and staring over with a different product.

Getting worse not better.
10SEP26 this app is basically useless now. The update killed pretty much all my plugs, bulbs and smoke detectors. Everything is just getting worse with every update.
Advertisement on main page
1 Star for advertising other products on the main page.
18+?
We have this app for our kids to use to help build routines for feeding our dogs. They aren’t 18, and now they can’t use this app because it’s rated 18+ and we have locks on their phones that keep them from using apps that are rated 18+. They used to be able to use this before the latest update.
Total Garbage
Delivers emergency notifications from a caregiver call button most of the time, but sometimes only after several minutes and occasionally not at all. If the app gets updated overnight, sometnotifications get “stuck” until the app is opened, where it will announce some new feature— which is fine by itself, but this announcement shouldn’t gum up notification delivery.
If that’s not bad enough, notifications now get sent for advertisements.
Okay if all you want to do is control some lightbulbs, I suppose, but potentially dangerous if notifications are a priority.

Why did you all take the timer button away!?!
You all have made it more difficult to set a simple timer. It used to be at the bottom left of my light group. All I had to do was click once and set the time to turn off all the lights. Now I have to create scenes just to make the lights go off at certain times.
Good, but why?
The app was amazing until they made it 18+. It was fun to use, I could change the colours of my lights which is what it’s supposed to do- but because of age restrictions on my phone, it blocks and I can’t download any 18+ apps. So I have no access to change the colour of my light, luckily I last had it on a normal colour and not the neon teal I usually have it on, but it’d be nice if they would fix it because NOTHING on the app is 18+ from what I know.

Upped age limit
They changed the age limit which means my kids no longer have access to this.
What happened
I used this app for the last 6 years and everything worked. Now I have lights that are stuck in one color,and the app freezes every time i try to adjust them. Looking for an alternative that works.
Ads every where
I hated this app before. It’s slow and lags when I use it. Now it’s even worse full of ads popping up. I was able to disable them at some point and now all I can disable is the personalization of the ads I cannot turn off. Switching to another app because this one makes me rage.
Disaster - Do not update!
They added a bunch of AI nonsense and completely broke all the existing functionality!
