Junk
My son got a smart link car as a birthday present. This app is necessary for it to work supposedly. Comes with no instructions, not in manual, not online, and not in app. It just doesn't work, and gives an obscure error message about a ipod server not being found. No other options and no help. You will install it and then stare at the screen in confusion. Also the app installs with a name ib101 control meaning searching for "smartlink control" after installing will not find it. Must have spent an hour trying to gt anything to work. Both iPad and iPhone have same experience. Junk junk, junk. Don't even waste your time. Return the toy now and save yourself frustration and an unhappy son. Makes me wonder what the manufacturer is thinking other than maybe some people will just not bother returning the toy.
