Crashed my phone, locked up lights
This is impossible. I can’t believe these expensive lights work less well than the Amazon $30 LED’s I have for Halloween. These are impossible. I was just about to get into an important shoot, lights connected and hard to reach, and BOOM. THEYRE LOCKED. No access. Now every change is either wait for full reset or literally go up a ladder and disturb the set. This is TERROBLE

Needs an update, help Vitec Group
I paid $1000 to upgrade my lights to work with this app. It crashes upon load unless I delete it and reinstall before each use. (iPhone 12 with iOS 15.1 & 15.3)
UPDATE: Still crashing. Now on new iPhone 16 with updated software. This is unacceptable.

Don’t waste money on Bluetooth hardware
I would say it almost borders on a scam that litepanel still sells the Bluetooth module for their astra 6x lights. In the 1 year that I have owned the Bluetooth module this app is SUPPOSE to work with it has worked ZERO times. I have tried numerous iPhone and iPads and nothing. They make great lights but horrible app and module.

Makes me want to buy Aperture lights
Sidus link while, not perfect, is 1,000 times better than this app. It was great for the first gen of iot lighting but it hasn't evolved much since.

Absolutely useless
I’ve been using this app for several years and the whole system is terrible. Lights are difficult to connect and constantly disconnect once they’re paired. I’ve had good luck using Bluetooth control with other light brands. I don’t understand why Litepanels can’t figure this out.

Left in long limbo often waiting for connection. An update is *long* overdue!

App is unreliable and needs redesign
Great concept but this app desperately needs a redesign. I have a six litepanel fixtures with bluetooth dongles but they are all unreliable and have difficultly to connect to the app. When it does connect, it often shows the wrong light fixture and won't allow for grouping or adding additional lights to be added without starting the process over. It's not something you can depend on for a job, even under the most idea circumstances.

This runs once on iPhone 12. Then crashes every time
This will run once on the iPhone 12 immediately after installation. Then it will crash on every attempt to open it. So then I must delete the app and reinstall each time I try and run.
The developer doesn’t test the software?
Good thing I wasted big bucks on the Bluetooth module since it is utterly useless with this software.
Stay away from litepanel lights. This will be the last prosumer light I buy. Cheap quality.

Device Header Not Visible
The Device header on my iPhone with updated iOS is all white (not gray) and doesn’t display text or options. Work Around: I know where the Add and Back buttons are supposed to be. You guys need to QA your releases.
Total rubbish
This needs to be fixed. It barely works (about 15% of the time) and is miles behind Aputure. Get it together LitePanels!
Doesn’t work
Was able to pair my Gemini light once so I know it works but haven’t been able to repair it since or my other two Geminis. Been troubleshooting for an hour now. They need to figure out what Aputure is doing and copy them because Aputure app works great. This one not at all, would never trust this on set in a time crunch which id always the case. Please update software to make this work. It would be a really great tool to have. Going to return Bluetooth dongle if I can’t figure it out.

Complete garbage?
This app is terrible! Just when you need it most, it fails. Constantly crashes and is a complete PITA to pair lights to!
Desperately needs update
This app has traditionally been unreliable with regards to its Bluetooth connectivity and now it will not even launch under iOS 15.5. Urgently needs an update.

I would say the Bluetooth connectivity of my Gemini panels works about 50% of the time, the interface is a tad clunky, and it’s very difficult to troubleshoot connecting the lights. Would love to see an update that improves the stability and the UI
Doesn’t work on iPad
Despite what the app says, this will work on iPads. I’ve tried multiple and they all just spin and never connect.
A small step forward but not quite there.
This is a cool idea - but it doesn’t feel like the final version...at least not for application in a professional setting.
Another annoying thing is the lack of documentation.
All in all, a small step forward. Knowing what I know now, I may not have purchased the extra bluetooth modules for my lights (or is it lites).

While finding this app took a bit of doing,
It seems to work pretty well.
The color match feature looks like a nice feature. Actual use will tell the story on its usefulness.
