You let me down

So disappointed in you guys. I have always been loyal to Taylor products and you really dropped the ball on this one. I bought my Taylor scale because of the app and the data it supplied me to support my good health. It has not worked for a long time now and you don’t seem to care to fix it. It has been displaying “Network Error” for over a year now. Yes I have the latest version. Please step it up and protect your brands reputation. Sad to see your lack of concern and attention to this matter :(

App issues

Have used the scales for two years without problems until I upgrade my iPhone this month. Now I am unable to log back into my account. It is showing network error. I have deleted and redownloaded the app to see if this would work and it has not. Tried to reset password and it showed network error.

Was very happy with the scale and app until now. I hope that this error gets fixed and soon if not will have to go back to my Fitbit aria scales.

Constant network error

My account was logged out of on my iPhone and upon username/password input a pop up dialogue box of “Network error” happens. I gave up on gaining access to my account and went to register a new account and you still get A “Network Error” pop up. The app is unusable currently. Can’t get past the login or register screen. Please fix the network error issue or allow for use of the app.

Recently quit working

I’ve been using this app successfully for many years but it has recently broken and now it says “network error” and is jeopardizing my ability to record weight with muscle mass and body fat. I may need to finally go buy an Apple Watch this week.

I just realized that an Apple Watch doesn’t resolve the issue. The scale is working and it’s the App I need to replace so I may have to buy a different scale that will send Data directly to the Apple Health app. I need to export my data first because I think tracking the body fat % and weight over the past 10 years should prove valuable as I make a push to cement a diet and exercise routine.

Won’t let me log into my account

Somehow this app lost Bluetooth connection with my scale. I tried about 30 times to pair my phone to the scale and it would unpair every time the scale sent a reading. So I installed this app and reinstalled it, now I can’t log into my account. All my weight history for five years disappeared from Health app. This is a poorly designed app. Looking to buy a body composition scale from another vendor. This app is too fragile and I can’t log into my account in the website too.

App needs update PLEASE

I have owned the scale since 2015 and it worked flawlessly, so much so that I bought the exact same one 3 years later for my vacation home. The app has not been maintained and shuts off after 15 seconds. Now the data from either scale does not transmit to my iphone. I have years of weight history that I don’t want to lose. If a company wants to survive in the connected world, it has to commit to maintain their app as OS evolve. Taylor will probably not read my review - when a company stops caring about its customers, the end is near.

2 years...no update? Is this a dead app?

I doubt the developers will answer this considering the app hasn’t been updated in two years so I’ll ask the people in the hopes that someone is still using it. I’ve recently gotten back into fitness and wanted to go back to this app but it appears it’s a dead app. Is that the case? If so does anyone know of an app that works with the Taylor scale? I bought the scale for the app. I’m definitely not buying another as this scale still works perfectly fine. Thanks for your help! ☺️

Amateur Night at the App Store

This was an xmas gift to replace my broken Withingd scale. Between the Homedics scale having the wrong instructions on how to pair the device and the app’s annoying behavior of changing the display back to weight every few seconds along with its terrible data presentation, I’m about to toss the whole thing in the trash and go get another Withings or go with FitBit. Just goes to show, you get what you pay for.

What happened?

Hi all. I’m not usually one to write reviews, so I’m a keep it in a question form. How is it that I continually get a network error when I try to login with my new iPhone X? I noticed that I stay logged in on my iPhone 6 Plus but since I’ve been having The iPhone X i have to re-login each time I open the app and here lately i constantly receive network error each time attempt login. Amazing how well app worked before have my iPhone X. Please repair app soon.

Update issues

I have used my Taylor Smart Scale with the SmarTrack app for several years, mostly without issue. I updated a week ago. It worked (mostly) fine for a few days — although the need to log in each and every time I used it was a minor annoyance. Now whenever I try to sign in, I get a “network error” message and can’t use the Bluetooth features at all.

I am sincerely considering buying anything that doesn’t use this app. This is ridiculous.

Simple Scale and App

I’ve been using the app with the Taylor Smart Scale Model 7226SFC for about 2.5 years now. I have had to reset the connection a couple of times in those 2.5 years, but otherwise it has worked flawlessly. I use the scale every morning immediately before showering. It syncs with my MyFitnessPal and Apple Health. In that time I have gone through three different iPhone models. Just recently when I switched from the iPhone 7 to iPhone X, it automatically synced my settings and kept working, I didn’t have to do anything.

On the negative side, the initial setup was not intuitive and it took a few days before it connected and recognized my profile. Also, the user interface hasn’t been updated, ever. But it works! And it works consistently!

Love the app and the scale!

I've been using this app for over a year now,and have never had a problem, except for the occasional glitch which happens in all apps. Just switched from an iPhone 5 to a 7 and everything synced seamlessly!

Stopped referencing dates after a month

Edit: I restarted the smartrack scale by removing a battery and placing it back. The app works fine now.

I used the app just fine for about a month but last week it stopped on Sept 22 and no other dates of after that are showing up when I try to log a weight. The app says they are registered when you pull down to refresh but they do not show up-not in the weight graph, not anywhere. I clicked support and the website gives me a bad gateway. Im wondering if they just gave up and dont help anyone anymore. Or it could be iOS? The scale is fine.

Disgusted

Literally one of the worst apps you can buy. Won't remember your screen name even after you check "remember screen name," freezes if you mis-enter log-in information, graphs don't actually fit I the screen in any logical manner, and trying to move the screen to compare newer results to older is a task within itself.

Plus there's the question of whether the scale itself is accurate. I've seen body fat move 5% points in a day and then stay around that percentage for subsequent time following. Interface, challenging; security features, impenetrable as the intended user; userability, a joke. Save $40 and just buy a bathroom scale and a notepad.

IPhone 6S + bare feet = Works well

I believe that the low ratings on this app are unjustified. Once I learned that you must weigh yourself in bare feet while you have the app open in order for the weight to be sent to the app properly, it works pretty much flawlessly. And it synchs the weight immediately into the Apple health app. I don't need much else but if it had fancier features I might consider giving it five stars.

This is a review of the app

The scale itself is nice and great for the price point. But I'm severely disappointed in the app. It needs to integrate with some relevant fitness apps. It says it integrates with myfitnesspal but it doesn't do it consistently. In today's age of fitness trackers and other apps integration is the key. This app doesn't sync with LoseIt!, Fitbit (unless you run a convoluted path through myfitnesspal, to Apple Health App, into Fitbit), it doesn't sync with The UP app. It's a bit disappointing because the description I read on the scale said the app integrates with popular fitness apps, not just one app. With that said the syncing between the scale and the app itself works, hence the 2 stars. But lack of integration is a big downside in my opinion.

New iPhone 6s not working with app

I just upgraded my iPhone to 6s the newest one out and I had been using the iPhone 6 just below the one now and the app keeps telling me no such user or password incorrect. I have the app running on my old iPhone and my iPod works fine just can't get the app to work correctly on the new phone. So sad I had just started to like this scale and app. I guess I will just have to start looking for a new system to use.

The Nickname I selected was already used

Aside from the absolute mess the developers made of this SmarTrack app, I just created a lengthy review and it was discarded by the system because the Nickname I randomly chose was already used!!!? Why not give a chance to change the Nickname without blowing away everything just written!!!?? Oh, but that is what they did with the upgrade to SmarTrack also..... Will not display any historical or current data from my Taylor Smart Scale since the app update in March! Shame, shame, shame!

App keeps dropping

I have been using the scale and app for well over a year now off and on. I'm giving the review 3 stars cause until recently I have had no problems with the app. In the last couple of days every time I get on the app and start looking around it will out of no where just drop the app and go back to my home screen on my phone. Not cool. Please get it fixed. Oh and one other thing, when I was syncing my scale and app after a weigh in my scale said I was one weight and when I synced it with the app the app said I was 1 lb heavier. That had never happened before either.

New updates fixed problems

Great App. There were a few problems after the March 16, 2016 update. However those of been fixed and we have a great app. It has data on me from the last two years and links to my "Health" app.
