they someone charged me $34 dollars which i genuinely have no recollection of, i have no idea how they managed it other than them doing it behind the curtain because for some reason it signed me up for smarty+. just deleted my account than deal with trying to get the money back but PLEASE DON’T DOWNLOAD

They scammed me out of 25 dollars by offering a 20 dollar cash back with “ no strings attached” i put in my Apple Pay to get 20 dollars back and that’s when they got me. I did a transaction on the Venmo app itself, I never excepted to get scammed on an official app like Venmo I’m very disappointed in both Venmo and this terrible greedy app called smarty!!

I had a popup add appear on a trusted app telling me to claim 20$. I signed up and then was immediately charged 25$ with a monthly subscription and no clear way to cancel. Will report as a fraudulent charge to my bank.

Worst app ever genuinely hope the creator sees this and deletes their website and app all they do is steal money from you and make profit of it. You have no clue what you’re signing up for. I thought it was part of Venmo then they take money from you never use this app it genuinely sucks.
DONT DOWLOAD ITS A SCAM
Rating high so this review gets some visibility. I signed up because this app was shown to me after making a transaction on PayPal. I thought it was safe to use because it was on PayPal. Wrong. They stole $25 out of the bank account connected to my PayPal within minutes of downloading. Magically after they did that their online chat support button is missing from the app, the regular support page isn’t sending messages, and when I go to cancel the subscription all I get is an error message at the top of my screen, yet everything else on the app is working. No way to get my money back. No way to talk to someone. No way to cancel what looks like a $25 subscription every month because some low lives want money they didn’t work for. Save yourself some headache.
