Filling the Gaps

I enjoy learning about a wide range of topics, so I downloaded this app to help fill in gaps in areas that interest me. Overall, the content is well written, although there are occasional English translation issues. The illustrations are solid, and many of the games are both engaging and informative. There are a few drawbacks. Some exercises contain glitches, which can be frustrating and point to a need for better quality control. In addition, the font on certain screens (mostly games) is very difficult to read—too thin and too light in color. Navigation could also be improved to make the experience smoother. The “Insights” menu is merely a sales point for purchasing some additional content. Tacky to include in the main menu.
On the positive side, I appreciate that the app supports iPad, which was an important factor for me.

Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase, but improved quality control and better navigation would make this app significantly better.
