Frustrating
I opened my Demat and Trading account yesterday. SMC sent me my User ID/Client ID but no password. When I used the “Forgot Password” option, I never received the OTP despite trying for over five hours. I have used other brokerage apps like Angel One, where the account setup and login process worked smoothly without these kinds of issues.
I opened this account only because my friend, who works at PNB, recommended and insisted that I do so. Unfortunately, my very first experience with SMC has been frustrating. A new customer should not have to struggle just to log in to a newly opened account. I hope SMC improves its onboarding process and resolves such issues promptly.
