Will not recognize the camera WiFi
The app does not recognize the camera’s WiFi, so it will not connect to it. Support offers no troubleshooting and only recommends replacing the camera with a new one. However, the WiFi is working, as my iPhone will connect to it.
Won’t work with IPhone 14
It works fine with my older iPad but will not work with my IPhone 14. It probably won’t work with newer IPads. Please fix.
Terrible…
Not only is it inexcusable that you have to allow this app to have access to your location, but it doesn’t even try to connect. The WiFi network this thing creates does not correspond to the one the app is looking for so even if your phone is connected to the spot shot the app won’t connect because the app doesn’t see it. Great idea of a product but terrible implementation.

Not for serious users
Mediocre fps, and clarity. The watermarks and “location tracking” are silly and add to my thoughts that this is more a gadget than a serious tool for spotters. It is nice that you have some range to remote view an area while behind a gun, you can set a spotter wide and see an overview while zoomed in on your rifle. The clarity is an issue, you definitely will have issues seeing bullet holes (as the equipment is marketed) at any significant range even with great glass, the resolution is tech of yesteryear and looks like less than 780p

iOS 15.3 - Fails
I bought the SME Spot Shot and got it set up on my phone with iOS 14.? And it worked just fine. Then after updating to 15.3 the app won’t open. I never even got to try it out on my spotting scope. :(
