I wish u could use this in America but it’s not popular enough to work. Because this is a user information submitted style app. If this app was more popular in America then it would work better.
Great app for Japan
Used this app for three weeks in Japan and it genuinely helped me find a few good spots in most of the major cities. Can be tough if you can’t read Japanese as many of the spots are described in Japanese and might be restaurants or bars so you might end up chasing spots that aren’t really there for a quick smoke. However it should help you find little tucked away spots around parks, temples, shrines and train stations. Japan has become a pretty anti-public smoking country especially in the major city centers so grab a pocket ashtray from a 100yen store, keep it discreet and with this app you should be good to go. If all else fails, ask a public or information person “Kitsu-en wa doko desu ka?”
