User reviews

It’s great

It’s great. It works in real time. But please can you add landscape mode? If you’re trying to use this to make a YouTube golf video that’s the only thing that’s holding you back. It can only to portrait mode

Why have to pay

Why do you have to pay for the app to track the ball like WHY do have to

Love it

Fun and easy to use

Heat issue

Love this app, but it gets hot and doesn’t work way too often. No matter the temperature, direct exposure to sunlight completely disables the tracer. Golf is played outdoors in the sunlight. Hopefully they can fix the issue or make a suggestion as to what I can do to help. This issue also seems to be getting much worse. Surprised there’s been no response to the heat comments.

FAQ

What does the SmoothSwing app do?

SmoothSwing is a golf application that provides two main functions: a real-time shot tracer that visually follows your golf ball's flight, and a comprehensive golf GPS system. The GPS features include a Club Assistant to suggest distances based on your clubs, PLAYS LIKE Distance which accounts for elevation changes, and direct measurement of uphill/downhill elevation.

What are the key features of SmoothSwing?

The app's standout features include the world's first real-time shot tracer, which requires white golf balls for optimal performance. It also offers a 360 Golf GPS system with a Club Assistant that recommends distances for each club, PLAYS LIKE Distance to adjust for slopes, and an ↑/↓ Elevation Change measurement.

How does the shot tracer feature work?

The shot tracer feature works by visually tracking your golf ball's flight path in real-time. For best results, it is recommended to use white colored golf balls. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight on hot days may cause the device to become warm.

What are the compatibility requirements for SmoothSwing?

The app is designed for use on supported iOS devices. However, it is important to note that certain older iPhone models, specifically the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X, are not supported by this application.

Is SmoothSwing free to use?

The application is available for free download and use, with in-app purchases available. This means you can access core functionalities without initial cost, but certain advanced features or content may require a purchase.
