I have had this product for a few years now and I never could get it to work? Why can’t you figure this out and do an update because I have wasted so much money on this product!!

Still won’t connect to Bluetooth after two years. Doesn’t read the existing firmware either for possible update. Waste of time!

This thing is the bomb. Purchased SMOVE Pro and Zhiyun to do a side by test. The SMOVE calibrates easily, is easy to operate, and stays on level perfectly. Another benefit is the metal construction is durable, and resilient to bumping around in a back pack.

The app kinda sucks. Smove app has this cool time lapse features. Smove pro doesn’t.
Besides, it has difficulties very often pairing with the Bluetooth, which it makes it very annoying when you need to use the Smove fast. Completely defeat the purpose of having a gimbal.

Would not recommend this stabilizer
I bought the SMOVE Pro Mobile and the setup instructions are a joke. The company makes enough money to to hire someone to make a good YouTube video for setup. Instead they just give you an outdated link to some YouTube vlogger that tells you how to setup another model, which has a different button format.
The app itself is no better. The Bluetooth would connect to the Smove Pro in my settings, but not in the app. The SMOVE Pro Mobile will turn on and work for a minute, then it stops, and starts flashing red and blue. This is super disappointing because the gimbal looks great.

I cannot connect my iPhone 7 to the app via Bluetooth. Severe headache!

I like the SMOVE PRO, but as others have stated, the app is severely lacking.
I’m a DIY YouTuber. I bought the SMOVE PRO specifically for the live tracking feature. I can set it up on a tripod in my shop, tap on my face in the app, and it will follow me as I walk from the bench to the table saw. Love that feature because I work alone.
Unfortunately the app only records 720p on the front facing camera and 1080p on the main camera even though I’m using the iPhone X which has many other modes.
Come on guys! This is a SOFTWARE limitation. Release a new version with better camera support!

Needs work
I purchased my Smove Pro as an early backer on Indiegogo. I was assured when I upgraded my purchase from the Smove, that this edition would also have auto 360 panoramic function. It does not. Also, the app should natively be able to capture 4K footage.
Features Unusable
The app doesn’t take panoramic pictures. Phone needs to be in portrait mode for panoramic pics and the app puts it in landscape then rotated 360 degrees. Moreover, it doesn’t even take a pic.
App does not allow the camera to switch between camera modes so no slo-mo, square, etc. Cannot use 4K mode of iPhone X.

Disappointed in app - NO 4K Video
Purchased the iPhone X (with 4K video in 30fps and 60fps) a couple of weeks before buying the SMOVE Pro. However, the SMOVE Pro app uses its own camera technology and can only film up to 1080p quality.
It basically renders the SMOVE Pro app/device useless.
When will the SMOVE Pro app be updated to take advantage of the iPhone X’s native camera quality?
Face-tracking technology is a little quirky.
Selecting someone’s face should be easier and track more consistently.

Unusable on iphone 6 plus
When I used this application I saw freezing and slideshow during recording video. I thought it’s only issue on preview screen and video will be recorded fine. I was wrong. My 1080p 60fps video wes recorded like slideshow and totally awkward. I don’t recommend to use this app for recording video on iphone 6 plus. Only original camera app. All my vacation videos now are trash. Thanks.
PS: I understand why 1280p is default resolution for video recording. Every single time when You open app you have to change this option (if don’t forget)
