i really love this app! it offers almost every single song and shows the pitches and everything. the only complains i have are that its kind of delayed most of the times and that singing solo is a subscription based thing. as someone who isnt that confident, i wish there was an option to atleast sing by yourself atleast like one time a day or so. great app though if you want to practice singing or just want to have fun!!

Not a Happy Texan
Not happy that I can’t share my singing to Facebook anymore because yall had ahit that down . Everyone loves to hear my singing and now it can’t be done!!
what am i even paying for?
i pay $40 a year and for what? originally VIP members were given unlimited re-activations and extensions. then that was taken away and we were limited to 3 re-activations a week. now we’re limited to 3 re-activations AND 3 extensions per week. a large community on smule is musical theatre where we perform full length shows with just singing and voice acting. taking away the ability to keep songs open tanks the way our groups run and at this point i’m paying $40 a year to be able to open songs. that is NOT worth it. if these updates keep getting more and more money hungry, i’ll be taking my money elsewhere.

The charges???
I had this app for over 10 years and it’s really disappointing to see that they’re charging people so much money just to sing with others. I literally just deleted it because what do you mean I have to pay over $40 to be able to re-listen to the songs that I sang in my past but not only that, to be able to sing a song by myself or a duet or even with other others. I get it you have to make money, but damn it’s not even worth it. Also, the app still feels really dated, it definitely needs a more modern upgrade. Just disappointed.

When I would use this app, I would genuinely spend 1 to 2 hours singing and having so much fun and connecting with other people around the world. It’s so fun being able to express myself in a safe place and not have to worry about judgment because everyone is there for the same reason. To sing and have fun.

it made me so frustrated that the recording sounded echoey and the timing of the music was off with my singeing even though i was singing with the track. And then it picks up EVERY SINGLE LITTLE SOUND, like i can even have a fan going, and it even picks up on the air vents, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND 😡😡😡🤬🤬😡
