Eastern Rat Snake
This app took about 10-15 seconds to not only ID the eastern ray snake but also specify it was “juvenile” eastern rat snake! Great work!

This app doesn’t really do a great job at identifying. It just gives a default snake apparently.

The app is super useful, cant believe its free. Great app.
Incorrect ID
Is this app suitable for countries outside the US? It identified a snake found in the US that we don’t have in Australia. Due to the amount of highly venomous snakes we have in Australia it is important that we get a proper ID. I wouldn’t trust this app!
NOT a free app
This app is not free, it not provides a free 3-day trial -after- you subscribe. Just use one of the many free websites instead.
Just not accurate
App is simply not curate, makes many mistakes. Misidentified a straightforward picture of a Copperhead for some snake from Brazil.

I hope people aren’t actually paying for this because it failed to identify a fairly common snake. Giant ripoff
Horrible app
Horrible app! Common rat snake came back as an Asia snake and I’m in southern USA!
Misidentification
First said snake was copperhead and next Gabon neither was correct it was a king snake

I signed up for a free trial and was charged $11 immediately, then the contact support feature wouldn’t work
Trash app
Sent two pics of the same snake and it identified as two different species. Trying to cancel what I know will be recurring payments. Of course there is nothing way to find out how to do so and the “email customer service link” is not working. Go figure.
Not a good app
This app is not accurate, and the user interface is awful. There is no menu, nothing. When you open the app you either snap a pic or choose one, then it analyzes it (incorrectly).
No Home Screen
Why is there no home screen? Why do I have to contact the developer to cancel? The app navigation is nonexistent.
Error reached daily quota
Right out of the box, first picture is an error. I reached my daily limit. JUNK!

Not much use to me
I uploaded a full-length picture of a dark snake on a light background - a gravel road - I took recently from about 4m away and the app 'instantly' - after about 2 minutes - told me there wasn't a snake there.
So I cropped the photo until there was hardly anything but snake and it immediately identified the snake as a black mamba, with no other suggestions.
Pity it ignored the fact my photo had location information clearly showing it was taken in Australia where black mambas are only found in zoos; it was a tiger snake.
This highlights the lack of intelligence in so-called AI apps-if not appropriately trained they will very confidently give you the wrong answer with absolute certainty.
The fact that the app couldn't even spot a snake in the photo initially also means it is pretty useless as you would need to be basically on top of the snake to take a photo it could use, which is not recommended.
