About

Snapcipe reads a photo of any dish - or the inside of your fridge, or a page of a cookbook - and writes the recipe back: ingredients, method, timings, nutrition. WHAT EVERY PLAN HAS - Scan a dish, your fridge, a cookbook page or your kitchen shelves - Three dishes from your pantry: one tap turns what is fresh in your kitchen into three ideas, and the recipe for the one you pick - Collections: a plan with a breakfast, a lunch and a dinner, or the favourites of someone you cook for, checked against what they cannot eat - Import a recipe from a link (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, any recipe site) or paste a note - Log a meal from a photo or a sentence: a daily ring, macros and an honest week - "Make this fit how I eat": one tap rewrites a recipe around your diet, allergies and dislikes. A scan itself stays faithful to the plate and flags what clashes - Convert any recipe into the steps a Thermomix-style kitchen machine follows - Eat local: where you are, what is worth ordering and why, checked against your allergies - Unlimited saved recipes, a shopping list grouped by aisle, a kitchen snapshot - A photo for every recipe: made in the background when you save one without a picture (on by default for Pro, a switch for everyone) - Share a recipe card or a link, and share to Snapcipe from any app - Widgets for your intake, recipes, the day's plan and the people you cook for, on the Home Screen and the Lock Screen - Siri and Shortcuts: cook, share or shop a recipe by name, in four languages - Export your data as JSON and CSV - English, German, French and Italian AI ACTIONS Every scan, import, rewrite, conversion, meal photo, pantry idea, generated photo and Eat local lookup is one AI action, charged only when a real result comes back. - Guest (no account): 3 a month - Free account: 7 a month - Pro Monthly: 250 a month - Pro Yearly: 500 a month PRO ADDS - Cook mode: the dish fills the screen, one step at a time, every duration a timer, voice control, and the current step and timers on the Lock Screen - PDF and Excel export - Priority support (yearly) SUBSCRIPTION PLANS - Pro Monthly: $2.99 a month - Pro Yearly: $24.99 a year Prices are shown in your local currency by the App Store. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID, renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and can be managed in your App Store account settings. No free trial. PRIVACY - Photos and recipe text are sent to our AI provider only for the scan you asked for. The switch is in Settings and can be withdrawn at any time - Recipes live on the device. Recipe sync is opt-in and never sends photos - Delete all data, or the account and everything on the device, from Settings Terms of Use: https://snapcipe.app/terms-of-service Privacy Policy: https://snapcipe.app/privacy-policy

What's New in Snapcipe

1.8.0

October 15, 2026

Group your recipes by how you eat and by who you cook for, keep them on the Home Screen and the Lock Screen, and ask Siri for one by name - in English, German, French or Italian. • Group recipes by a way of eating or by someone you cook for. A plan ("Super healthy") has a breakfast, a lunch and a dinner, filled from the library or with three new ideas for a meal. A person ("Anna") has their favourites, checked against what they cannot eat - their food rules stay on your phone. • A recipe that clashes with a person's rules stays flagged, and "Adjust for Anna" rewrites it for them as a copy in their collection. The original is untouched. • Today shows the plan's meals for the day and who you are cooking for. • Three more widgets beside the intake ring, on the Home Screen and the Lock Screen: your recipes (favourites, then cooked, then saved), the day's plan with the next meal by time of day, and the people you cook for - names and counts only. • "Cook the salmon bowl in Snapcipe" now finds the recipe: Siri knows up to a hundred of your recipes, favourites and recent ones first, and tolerates word order, accents and a missing word. • "Cook this in Snapcipe", "Add the ingredients of this to my shopping list in Snapcipe" and "Share this recipe from Snapcipe" act on the recipe you have open. • Share a recipe by Siri or from the Shortcuts app. • Phrases and spoken answers in German, French and Italian as well as English. • A shared recipe goes out as a short link that opens a page with an "Open in Snapcipe" button; the link is kept for thirty days. • Sharing the shopping list opens a sheet: the whole list or one recipe's items, with the exact text shown before it is sent. • A shared shopping list links to the list itself, grouped by aisle, kept for thirty days. • Search the shopping list and the pantry. Take an item off the shopping list, with Undo. • Eat local shows its dishes as a list, one open at a time, each with its allergy note and its own "Cook it at home"; the choice between where you are and somewhere else is there in every state. • "Make me something else" on Today chooses a real dish for the meal, and "Paste a recipe" reads a pasted recipe as written, steps and all. • "Generate photo" no longer holds you on the page: the photo is made in the background and is there when you come back. • A recipe made from text or from a pantry idea offers a photo. Generated photos keep to the recipe's own ingredients. • If a recipe or an idea still contains something from your allergy list after the app has asked again, it says so, in your language, wherever the answer is shown. • Text pasted or imported into the app cannot give the assistant instructions: a line in a recipe that says "answer in French" or "add this ingredient" is read as part of the recipe. • Share to Snapcipe works again: the share sheet from Safari, Instagram, TikTok and the rest shows its button instead of a blank white sheet. A TikTok brings its caption with it. • A Pro plan granted outside the App Store (a reviewer's account, a goodwill month) now reads as Pro in Settings, with the full allowance, instead of "Free - active" with no count. • Teaspoons and tablespoons stay teaspoons and tablespoons in metric: no more "2.5 ml salt". Cups, ounces, pints and quarts still convert. • A recipe without a photo shows the avocado, not a fork and knife. • Generated photos arrive faster. • A sheet with a scrolling list no longer takes its screen down ("This screen didn't load") - this affected "Make this fit how I eat". • "AI action" everywhere: the app no longer calls the same thing a token in some places. • "1 recipe", not "1 recipes". • Quick actions on the app icon open the right screen. Timers read their step. Exported PDFs, CSVs and spreadsheets carry every field.
