Do better Snap-on

Don't ever buy anything electronic from snap-on, they don't know what they are doing and the app doesn't work

Please help

Everything was fine and then it wasn’t once my device is connected it and I open the app the app crashes and closes out.

will not connect

Will not recognize the iPad is connected to the BK8500. It shows a dialog to tell you it needs to be connected, but it’s already connected. No way to get past that.

I got the BK8500 because it could theoretically be used with an iPad, but connection was flaky at best, and hasn’t connected at all in several years.

I am going to make a video on how to connectThis to your phone I’m tired of everybody saying it doesn’t work I have one and friend of mine has one I connected it to my iPhone 8 Plus and I connected his for him to his iPhone 11 Pro it works fine. It’s a matter of just knowing how to do it I will post a follow up comment with a link to a YouTube video showing you guys how to set it up.

It does not work with the new IOS 13

Needs work

Will not connect to the app even though it shows up in wifi area first time but after that it doesn’t even show up in wifi. Very disappointed thank god im only trying this unit seems like a great unit except for that...too bad Snap-on you just lost a sale.🤬

Fix it

Not reconnecting after first use, tried reinstalling and rebooting. No possibility to "connect by ip" as faq suggests

It does work

just need to connect to the scopes wifi hotspot, once connected tap the little i icon and change from dhcp to manual ip adress, enter 192.168.10.241 as the ip, and 255.255.0.0 as the subnet mask.

Three stars because the video from the scope is laggy, not the app, but the scope itself.

Terrible

Won't connect to iPhone don't waste hours of your life too

Cannot connect my BK8500 to iPhone 6plus

Just recently purchased this scope. I was excited to see it also has an app for iOS devices. I cannot get it connect to the handle, my Snap-on rep also tried. He is referring the issue to the Snap-on tech guy in my area. Please fix the app! I would like to use my scope paired to my phone.

Joke

Does not work on iPhone 7, spent 1200 on the borescope and will not do what it's supposed to do.

Doesn't connect to wand

This app doesn't work at all with iPhone 6s Plus. Keeps saying the up address needs to be set and I've set it up a million times. I spent $1200 on a scope and I can't use it to its full potential. Fix this please.
