Snippet: Secure Text Vault

Snippet is a snippet and text-template manager for Mac and iPhone that keeps your saved text private. Lock a category behind Face ID or Touch ID and every snippet in it is encrypted; on-device Apple Intelligence files new snippets into colored categories; and Smart Fill completes your templates from text you've selected in any app. Everything runs on your device — no server holds your text. ENCRYPTION THAT STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE Lock any category and all of its snippets are encrypted with AES-GCM, the key kept in your iCloud Keychain. New snippets you add to a locked category are encrypted automatically; copying or editing one requires Face ID or Touch ID. You can always read, copy, and unlock snippets you've already secured — even without Pro — so an expired purchase can never strand your data. SMART FILL — TEMPLATES THAT FILL THEMSELVES Select the text of an incoming message, press the Smart Fill shortcut, and pick one of your templates. The device reads each {{field}} and pulls its value straight from the message. A containment guard means a value is used only if it actually appears in the text — anything it can't find is left blank, never invented. The captured text is held only for that moment and never saved. APPLE INTELLIGENCE THAT ORGANIZES FOR YOU The categorization is powered by Apple Intelligence — Apple's on-device Foundation Models. As you save a snippet, the model reads it together with your existing category names and returns a one- or two-word category; the app assigns one of ten high-contrast colors. A genuinely new topic goes to "Other" instead of being forced into the wrong place. It runs entirely on-device and offline — nothing is uploaded.
