Login is a pain

The app is great, but just received an update that makes logging in a pain. The app doesn’t remember me and I have to log in with library card number and password every time I open the app. It won’t let me use a saved password either. I have to manually type it in. Makes using the app a lot less convenient. Hope this gets fixed very soon!

Updated app issues

This app has become completely useless since the last update. It logged me out following the update and will not let me log back in. Every attempt just recycles back to the log-in screen.

Trash

Most recent update is horrendously bad. Requires sign in every time it opens, takes forever to open my account, and is difficult to switch from holds, checked out, or in transit. I am very disappointed in what this library has done with this app,

It used to work fine before update

It looks like the app was recently updated and since then it’s been rally annoying trying to login each time I use it. I haven’t been able to switch between my card and my child’s as I usually did. Im getting so discouraged to use this app when it used to be so helpful.

New version horrible

The latest version doesn’t keep you signed in. It logs you out after just a few minutes of inactivity and forces you to sign back in repeatedly. The landing page is also inaccurate. I ended up deleting the app.

Tracking your location?

Why does the state funded library need to track my location? Among other privacy concerns.

Useful but a bit wonky

I use this app because it’s more convenient than the website, but you can’t really trust it. Sometimes it straight up says a book doesn’t exist when it does, the holds go from number 1 on two copies to number 2 on two copies, and more odd stuff. Just the other day, I wanted to put a hold on Berserk deluxe volume 10 and it didn’t exist but it showed volume 11. Then the next day, it did exist but now number 9 just wouldn’t show up. Confusing. Lacks a certain usability polish.

Website problem

Overall, this app is amazing. But there is one problem, the websites. See, people make apps for websites so people don’t need to go to a website, but when I try to look at my holder books, it takes me to a website I, in my limited screen access, do not have access to. If you could just show the holder books without taking people to a website, that would be great.

I want to like this app

I will say I am very appreciative to have an app that I can listen to books for free while I am driving or working. I want to give it more than one star but the level of frustration this app gives me due to half the time it simply not working is unmatched.

It’s good

Does what it needs to! However it often tries to have me sign in again when I click on stuff. Also if there could be a full list of what’s available from my shelves, because it only shows me 10 and it would be super helpful if there was a “view all” button for those editions I’ve added for later. Otherwise great app, I’m glad we have this!

Makes my life so much easier

Been using for over a year and it super simple and easy to reserve books from my phone, keep track of what I have check out, and read books digitally. Haven’t had any problems.

I’m sorry but it doesn’t

We can get a few

Fantastic

This app has EVERYTHING I wanted. It is super convenient and user-friendly. I had to login to my account using the website every time I wanted to do something, but now through this app I can access all services in a much pleasant and comfy way. Already recommended it to my friends. Kudos to everyone who contributed in developing this project.

Not as good as Overdrive

This app boots up quickly, so it is faster. However, Overdrive gives more details about a book. My first search for a book gave me videos to stream. Most of what was recommended for me was geared to pre-school and school age children, which is fine because it is September but I was hoping for a more intuitive app based on what I have borrowed over the last 10 years. Predictive spelling/text for searching a book is OK, but, again Overdrive is much more robust. There are no recommendations based on my previous borrowing history or categories I have read from recently. I’m sure Sno-Isle Libraries are hoping to get an app up and running that will replace OverDrive and the costs associated with it but I’m wondering if there will be much savings as many, many hours will be required, maybe many years, before this app is any competition to OverDrive.

Finally!

Everything we wanted and more. This is a clean, easy to navigate app. You can do everything that you would do on the website. Now I have the ease of getting books and media as soon as I think of it and I don’t have to bog down the Internet through my browser. I love it!
