The Easy Way to Track

This app makes it so easy to track my days in the US. And it’s great for giving up to date changes to the rules too. Love it!

Fantastic but…..

A wonderful app but there’s an important miss in the rolling 12 month target number of days that must be addressed.

Handy & Dandy

We travel a lot. This app is great as we plan our days stateside.

review AAA

Perfect! Everything i needed.

Calcul des jours hors Canada (passé au USA)

Excellente application pour faire le suivi des jours hors Canada au fils des années.

Days not decreasing

I think there is a glitch, because I will be out of the USA for weeks at a time and my amount of days wont decrease on the app, and the more you are out of the USA the more your amount of days used should decrease. Sometimes my number will stay the same for weeks without decreasing

Snowbirds Day tracker APP

This is s great APP. Makes it easy for this tired, old brain to keep my numbers in order. Easy to use. Very helpful. 😊🇨🇦

Need open trip added

I cross the boarder but do not know when I will return so I need the to also track an open date so I know how many days I have left. If I can’t add an open date it requires me to remember the date months ago when I crossed the boarder. This would make the app more useful to me

Great app

Must get this app if you travel to USA - it’s an amazing helpful tool

Excellent app

Wish it also tracked the 180 immigration rule.

Excellent way to keep track of your days

This makes keeping track of your rolling days very easy.

Edit: error was on my end

I originally thought the app miscalculated the number of days as it didn’t agree with my excel spreadsheet. However the error was on my end. Eg. If you arrive on Monday and leave Tuesday, that is counted as 2 days, not 1 as Excel was calculating. I checked the govt site and it is counted as 2 days as this app does. The developer contacted me to explain this and I decided to change my review.

Response from developer

Hello, Our calculations have been verified. The days are based on calendar days. It's not based on a 24-hour clock. IRS would count this as two days spent in the US. We would appreciate an updated review if we addressed your concerns. If you have any questions, please reach out to gerry@snowbirdsusdaytracker.com.

Perfect for Snowbirds

I have been using this app for years and it has saved me so much time since I don’t have to keep track of the days I spend in the US manually.

Error in day calculation

The numbers did not match my spreadsheet. I realize that this app counts start and end date as 2 days. So if you go overnight, it should only be 1 day and it calculates as 2 days.

If you have multiple trips, you will notice your days calculated will be increased by the number of trips you have.

The media webinars also do not play.

Useful for IRS purposes but not for rolling calendar stay count

A major miss on this app is that it does not track the number of days someone is in the US on a rolling calendar at any given time.

Great App

Would be perfect if this app was set up for couples, partners, husband and wife. I take care of tracking this info. So I still have to record my partners on paper

Border line useless!… (pun intended)

This app falls short in many ways.

A “category” is required for each trip from a drop down list that doesn’t allow for a custom description. The date ranges are restricted to the calendar year requiring a Snowbird to enter two trips; one ending December 31st and a second starting January 1st. A “Location” for each trip is required but only from a drop down list which doesn’t include my true locations.

Trips are not displayed. Just a gross total of days in the US.

There doesn’t appear to be a way to edit a trip.

The substantial presence test is not calculated. This is particularly bad given this is the point of this app.

And probably worst… there’s no rolling year calculation. This is critical information needed to manage the 180 days CBP permit visitors traveling on a virtual B2 visa to be in US.

Clearly little thought has been put into the functionality needed to make this app useful. Equally clear this is a travel insurance organization promoting their products.

Limited value

This app is of limited value for snow birds. Only allows for a single beginning and end date. In my case I spend the first four months and the last two months of the year in the US. Will give it another look if that changes.
