Updates?

This app needs an update. Heaps of resorts have added lifts and runs. Also needs some of the smaller hills in Alaska and northern bc Canada

Time

Doesn't read time correctly and takes minutes and hours away after being boarding all day... I boarded for 5 hours for the last 4 days and only gave 2 hours on mountian...

Great app for skiing with friends or family

This is a very good app for hitting the slopes with friends or family. You can message them, see where they are and look at the daily leaderboard. It measures stats well too.

See your resort and view the details for each run

In addition to tracking your runs, SnowZat provides a 3-D map of your resort. Zoom in on specific runs or lifts and tap on them to see the details. During the long dry summer, I’d look at the maps of various mountains and check out the details for various runs. It is interesting to see how some mountains categorize one run as black diamond while others categorize an equivalent run as blue intermediate.

Update Dec 7 2021:
Please consider putting the resort Ski Patrol number on the app for whatever mountain the app user is visiting that day. Even better- a button to call Ski Patrol in the event of an emergency. It is surprisingly common for bystanders to stand around an injured skier with no idea how to contact Ski Patrol and request help.

Great app! It looks like California resorts will finally get skiable snow next week.

Response from developer

Hello - The app is definitely designed to work offline and automatically save all stats whilst running in the background. When the app does connect with the internet, it will synchronise the results with the SnowZat server. Can you please email us with your SnowZat username and we will work through this with you. Email: support@snowzat.com

Love it!

Great 3D resort maps and friends finder. It also records my day.

Best snow tracker and race

Very good

GREAT SKI/Snowboard App

Sooo highly recommend this app for those who like to track their runs and progress through the day! Also was a great tool for seeing where I was while skiing the backside of any mtn

Best snow app out there with a few drawbacks!

Best snow app hands down!

A lot of awesome features such as tracking friends, ski/snowboarding report, and coins earning/spending system.

The only issue I’m having is this app drains battery pretty fast! I understand gps is required while this app running in the background. An Apple Watch app could be a solution maybe?

Thanks for developing such an awesome app!

Response from developer

Thank you for the feedback. The SnowZat app has been specifically designed to use minimal battery whilst running in the background. Our testing suggests 20-30% for all day use. Please contact support@snowzat.com if you would like to discuss in more detail.

GPS

This app always cannot active my location. It always said I am outside the resort. GPS not good. Some of my friends have this problem as well.

Response from developer

Hello - Location Services must be "Always On" for the SnowZat app to work. Also, the app must always be left running in the background when in resort to continually monitor the location for statistics and location sharing. The SnowZat app has been specifically designed to minimise battery usage.

Stuck on the resort search

Stuck on the resort search, it sent me an email with my repost though.

It works

What more can I say - I don’t have to count runs and I get a summary end of day

Neat!

You could do better

This is great idea but just a prototype. Not even able to create an account? I think a ux/ui designer could also help with your front.

Quebec

N’a aucune montagne au QuΓ©bec.
Ne permet pas les recherches par carte

Super great app. Even w/o internet

It is really good app. Some suggestions would be voice navigation, with choice of difficulty level in route. Also label the lifts with the numbers and not just the names. Otherwise best app around. I had to download google maps also to get the lift number and double check names and difficulty, just as a backup mostly.

Response from developer

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. The SnowZat app offers lift numbers in a red circle at the beginning of the lift name label, if they are available from the resort. We are keen for constant improvement of the app. Could you please advise which resort you are using? support@snowzat.com

Kinda spotty

It’s a little glitchy. It randomly missed half my runs today.

Works good - please add Vertical

Nice app, but needs to track vertical feet like other apps to be better.
