Annoyed

Overall Review:
It seems there are barely any feature for the free users. If you unlock resources to be the only one shown on the homepage and allow it to play for more than 5 mins, it would let me see how effective the app enough to want to buy the premium.

My User Experience:
First, I found it annoying to click on the videos without the lock and immediately be told I can’t watch it because it’s 8hrs long. Why show it as something available for the free users then?

Then I went to the main page, the I am prayer was free. Yay( or so I thought)! I only got an explanation of what it is and a prayer and one scripture be for it was 5 mins and it was cut off. I didn’t even get to fully experience what I am supposed to want to pay for.

Suggestion:
At least 30-45 minutes for the free versions would suffice

I’m not falling for it

Can’t get past registration. Seems certain email domains aren’t allowed & I can only guess why. Nope, not allowing access to my info just to hear the Word. Back to YouTube I go.

I cry at night waking up to worship God. No commentary just Gods powerful word. Thanks for simply Gods words. I put this on when I sleep and when I work. Keeps me focused on Him.

Falling asleep to God’s word🥰

The best sleep you’ll ever get. If I feel uncertain or anxious before bed I put on one of the sleep Bible verse meditations, and I wake up feeling refreshed and fulfilled. God’s word is truly healing ❤️‍🩹🙏🏼

Why pay?

Why pay for the app with I can listen to the same things free on YouTube? I only wanted the app so I could listen to the videos while my phone was locked, but that reason alone isn’t worth the money to me. I’ll stick to listening on YouTube and not having my screen locked.

Love the verses

App is too busy trying to do too much and doesn’t let me do prayer submissions it times out too much unless I only type a few words drives me crazy and they want to charge money if you want to listen to verses basically it’s a prayer app unless you pay for the service again too much enhancement so app is too much for my iPhone. Also I am so tired of ads can’t ever find what I want to use on apps even this one I only wanted to listen to the word , UHHGHHHH!

And study the concordance CCC

WOW! AMEN Sally! I love this! Praise the Lord. And I love how you are grabbing your Bible and reading along. Praise the Lord. My wife did that for a while highlighting her favorite verses and then would pray who God wanted her to give it to. Such a great way to give people Bible's, gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, people who don't have Bibles, to your kids, etc. Could even but Soakstream app info in there for others to download it too. Maybe we should create Bible QR code stickers someday haha, praise God Sally! Stoked you are digging deep! Praise the Lord!

Miss representing

I paid the $45 for the service. But I don’t have the service in full and they want me to sign up for the service and pay another $45. I feel like it was a bait and switch, and they misrepresented it.

Music too loud

I use the sleep and prayer choices most and most of the time I have trouble hearing that soothing voice over the music. I’ve adjusted my sound settings and volume as much as I can. Is there something you can do to adjust this on your end?

We have 3 sliders to adjust the background music, SFX, and Scripture reading, so technically you can take the background music completely out of any or all of our videos if you wanted to. Love this!!

I just discovered this app and I absolutely love it. I’ve been listening to it every day. It’s so encouraging to hear a calming well thought out prayer. It’s encouraging me to pray more and to listen more to God‘s voice.

Couldn't get past the terms and conditions and terrible privacy policy

I've read what others have posted and agree that ab developer is using customer information however, they deem fit. That matches their nonexistent privacy protection.

Needs Major Improvements

Through the grace of God, I’ve tried to exercise patience with this app. However, I believe the truth should be shared so that a subpar experience does not become the status quo for a brand associated with Christ. At $45/year, I’d be lying if I said I’ve received $10 worth of use from soakstream. It’s perpetually glitchy, scriptures don’t play, images don’t show, background music might play, and it all has me questioning why I didn’t stick with the YouTube version. I’d rather deal with ads, knowing I’m getting value in return! When I contact customer care, I don’t always get a response, which leads me to believe that they are short-staffed. It would be better to pull this app off the market, reiterate, and relaunch instead of selling something that doesn’t do the name of the LORD justice!

What a wonderful find

How did I not know about this app until this morning? I found the YouTube channel and then came to the app. I am trying the one week trial. Looking forward to this accentuating my prayer and scripture meditation times. Love the calming music, scripture and quiet music. Perfect to be drawn into the presence of God.
