Live it. Love it! Everything neede uk make soap and record if. Love the supplies aspect that helps to work out the cost of soaps too - very up helpful. Love how recipe are separate from a made batch do I can record everything. Especially in the UK which is so strict and detail required to make and sell soaps in the uk. Program developers have gone as fab job and the listen to our needs too. Thank you HKA (NKALKA )

Fave Soap Calculator
This is my favorite soap calculator. I do not use another one.
Soap Friend
This is the best and most practical soap making calculator I have found. To me, it beats the others because if its simplicity and the results so far have been great.

Easy to use and my soaps always come out perfect.

Great app that allows me to build up my formulas, share them with the community and enrich our own knowledge. Plus I keep track of my inventary. Great app indeed
Hmmm
I wish I could say I fully love this app being that I paid for it. At times not everything shows up ie fragrance weight. Many times the liquid and lye are also absent in the formula even though I indicated it on the recipe. Today, I keep getting errors when I want to edit my recipes. Needs improvement guys.

Not working correctly
All of a sudden it will not let me save my pictures which are jpeg. It’s a good program but I’d like to have my pictures with the recipes.
Reset my recipe
Not user friendly, I switched out of the tab after finishing my recipe and it completely reset everything but the name and notes

This calculator, to me is probably the best I’ve ever used. So many seem good until used. Soapmaking friend calculator is easy to use for me and glad I found it!
Comes in very handy. However…
I love this app, it comes in so handy to have a mobile soap calculator on the go. However, after this last update I have had problems with the calculator not allowing me to input the oil weight. It will let me do it once and then one I go to results is reverts back to 100g and it does not allow me to change if I want to see grams or ounces.

Subscription model..
Have to setup an account just to learn that the app is a pay monthly.. A one off fee is fine and I likely would have bought the app just to see how useful it was but no chance I am signing up to a subscription for a saponification calculator.

Terrible customer resource
This app does not work with the user very easily. Calculations are not completed and saved, nor can I print. I paid for a service that I am not receiving. I would not recommend this app to new beginners.

this has become my go to app for all things soap making her use so making friend and Soapmakers forum for 95% of my Soapmaking questions. So making friend is an excellent tool as it enables me to put in additives indicating proper amounts knowing they will always be calculated properly. It is well worth every penny and more.

I only use this app for my recipes. You can add and change so many different stats in the app. I love that you can save your favorite recipes too. Great app! Never lets me down.
