When it works it’s great - it usually doesn’t.
I love it when it works. However, it’s down and the support email doesn’t work. I have flights purchased I can’t use so now I have nothing for my fear of flying when I leave on a trip. Disappointing.
App Doesn’t Work
This app has been so helpful for me in the past. Now I can’t log in, reset my password, or create an account. It prompts you to email support through the app but it doesn’t send the message.
Good features, terrible ui.
I can’t purchase additional flights, which seems like a pretty serious oversight. When I can use it it’s awesome, but it’s often hard to navigate through.

Can’t purchase flights
I love this app so much I swore I’d never fly without it again. But there’s no option in the app to purchase more flights. I’m at the airport waiting and I’ll have to fly without it. :-(
App used to be great. Doesn’t work anymore
I used this app so much pre-pandemic and it helped me tremendously. Sadly, It appears as if the developer has abandoned it. When I attempt to login via facebook I get this message: “App Not Setup: This app is still in developer mode and you don’t have access to it.” Then when I attempt to create a new account, I never receive a confirmation code to complete account creation and to access the app. I’ve tried probably 20 times. This app is now a complete waste of space. Don’t bother with it.

This app was the perfect companion on a flight. It lets you know what to expect, what’s going on, and how to ease anxiety during the flight.
Wish this app would work because it was so helpful!
I used this app so many times on flights and it REALLY helped my anxiety and fear. But recently it has not been letting me purchase flights. I tried logging out and logging back in, but it just says error. I tried contacting customer support but have heard nothing. I wish this app would work again, because it was a great tool for anxious flyers before it stopped functioning properly.

Used to awesome
This used to be a great app that helped me allot the latest version is so bug-ridden it’s unusable. The turbulence map is a 50/50 shot if it will even load. The the app flakes out and throws an error and shuts the flight down. The purchase flights has become totally unresponsive so you can’t event give them money. No customer service to speak of

Did not work
The app never actually let me use the paid functions, even with WiFi connection. It never did a sync to be able to give me information about my specific flight, just generic tidbits. Waste of money.
Failed me
I rely on this app and have spent a lot of money on it. Yet it is buggy and this time over a one hour period would not let me actually buy new flights, leaving me to fly without it and provoking significant anxiety. What a mess. Why have I been spending this money?? Captain Tom should not support or endorse—really tarnishing his reputation.

Charged for flights I never received
The app itself is great, especially for a nervous flyer like me. However, like another user posted, when I went to purchase a single flight on 8/12/2019, it did not appear in my “flight purchased” list. I attempted to buy a flight several times, as well as the 3 flight option (twice) to see if it would work. I didn’t think any of these attempts were going through because my “flight purchased” list remained at 0.
Finally, I was able to purchase 1 flight successfully. Shortly thereafter, I saw I was charged for the purchases that did not load in my app. I have followed up with SkyGuru and have not heard anything back. It’s extremely frustrating and I’m not sure that I would continue to use the app in the future if I can’t reliably make a purchase or be refunded (or even just get a response back) when something like this happens.
Apple was able to refund one of the 3 flight packages, but I never heard back from this company regarding the other 3 flight and two single flight packages that never appeared in my app.

Issues
I like the app but have been having issues of freezing, most recently DURING my flight. How can I get a credit for one flight?
Great in theory
Nice idea but I’ve not been able to get the pay or free version to connect even though I paid for 10 flights. I’ve gotten every error there is connected to WiFi and LTE, and the support emails come back undeliverable.

My purchased flights disappeared!
I enjoyed using the app twice and found it to be extremely useful. BUT, I purchased 16 units to use in the future and my entire account vanished. I re-registered 3 more times, bought 3 more sets of flights and again nothing shows up.
I’m flying tomorrow and wish I could resurrect all my prior purchases or at least get a refund, but no one answers my emails or texts.

I purchased a flight but it says I have 0 purchased flights. I checked and my credit card was charged. How do I access this flight that I purchased?

The last time I flew I purchased some trips, I didn’t see them in my “flight purchased” so I purchased again thinking something didn’t go thru. Those purchases never loaded into my app.
I’ve attempted to reach SkyGuru thru the app/email etc... there hasn’t been any follow up. My emails are returned undeliverable.
Basically if it works for you, GREAT.. it is a great concept. If it doesn’t, do not plan on a refund or any type of service from the developer.

I can't for the life of me figure out how I can purchase flights. Please help.
Crashes. Never worked.
App was fine until take off then crashed every time I launched within 10secs of launch. Paid for a 10pk and the company was terrible to help with a refund. Don’t waste your time!

Hi! We've managed to fix the problem you have. Please uninstall the application, restart the phone and install SOAR again. The error should disappear.
