Math is off
When comparing scenarios for the break-even, the math is way off. I don't feel like I can trust this program.
Not accurate
The values for each year’s benefits match SS for some years and not others. For example the benefits for age 62 to 67 within a few dollars of what SS says but way off for ages 68 to 70.
The spousal benefit is sometimes accurate and sometimes not.
Per SS when you apply for your benefits the first check happens the following month. When you use a January value the first check is in February. This is correct in the app. When you use a December value the app has the first check in December not January. This is incorrect.

Super.
This program gives bad numbers. Use with caution.
There are bugs in this program. You should use with caution. The reports show me and my spouse getting social security BEFORE the dates input into the program for benefits to start. If you put in your birthdate and then ask for benefits to start at age 66 and 6 months, the reports show those benefits starting at age 66. Fortunately I only lost $1.99 on this. But this is a seriously bad bug that could cost you thousands of dollars over your lifetime if you make decisions based on the reports in this program that can’t be changed down the road.
