SoftLog is a clear, practical digital logbook built for pilots. Record ICAO or IATA routes, flight numbers, registrations, aircraft types, crew, PF/PM roles, Out/Off/On/In times, night time, PIC, SIC, PICUS, Dual, instructor time, deadhead travel, simulator sessions, Autoland, approach category, and notes. ICAO and IATA codes complete each other automatically. Key features: • a compact logbook grouped by flight date; • a dedicated two-column iPad experience; • a route map with great-circle paths and flight frequency; • statistics by year, period, aircraft type, airport, crew, and distance; • a calendar highlighting days with recorded flights; • crew, aircraft, airport, certificate, and note databases; • offline airport and aircraft-type catalogs; • Numbers, Excel, and CSV import and recognition of PDF and image flight tables, with a review step; • a default pilot role and date-based reassignment of past flight-time categories; • vacation periods kept separate from flight-time totals; • XML and Excel export plus printable PDF logbooks based on EASA FCL.050, FAA CFR 61.51, CAAC CCAR-121, and other layouts; • a pilot profile with a handwritten signature for PDF exports; • readiness, recency, duty-limit profiles, forecasts, and warnings; • historical METAR snapshots for the departure time, provided through MetarBot; • instructor and student training records kept separate from the instructor's personal logbook; • English and Russian interfaces; • light and dark themes with a custom accent color; • an optional account with protected synchronization across devices. Your data remains stored locally on the device. You decide whether to create an account and whether to upload existing flights. Records from different accounts are kept separate, and deleting an account does not erase the local logbook. SoftLog is not intended for navigation, flight planning, or operational decision-making. Regulatory profiles, weather, and PDF layouts are reference tools; always verify records and requirements with the applicable authority and operator before official use.
