Worst AI i have ever used
It may be private, but that doesn’t matter when answer quality is so bad. I have iphone 17 pro max using the best model and the amount of made up information this AI gives makes it useless. Cannot do anything helpful, crashes a bunch. Tried smaller model and was even worse. Appreciate the effort but people should be warned these models are full of mistakes. Worse than chatgpt in 2023.

The only good local AI app
Every local AI app I’ve tried on my iPhone thus far is either a dinky Ollama wrapper, doesn’t give me any options other than like two local models to use, has no tool calling, and basically no abilities other than just local chat… Solair has EVERYTHING. I can do Web search with a local model, which is insane. I have a built-in router to automatically switch to other models live, which is also insane. I can even hook up my Health metrics to the app and run a local model on them. This is unbelievably good, excellent work from the dev.

From web search with local ai llm processing too being able too connect with Apple health too check my health stats from my Apple Watch AND AirPods Pro 3 this is a Top 10 recommended choice for anyone looking for fast simple too setup ai processing without spending money on a subscription or useing cloud AI company’s solutions that just wanna harvest your data too feed you more “targeted ads” oh and did I mention this app is free? No subscription needed for unlimited conversations!!! No annoying ads or pop ups all the dev asks for is donations and feedback when and if possible this developer dose actually reply too feedback and has applied changes too the application even I asked for meaning he really dose take into account user feedback when developing this application!! ( only tested on iPhone 16 plus running latest versions of iOS 26 as of the time of writing useing Apple Intelligence for my fast model and Gemma 3 text 4B for my smart model results may vary per device and configuration )

I included few uncensored models, and you can download more uncensored models from huggingface directly. But I agree with you, LLMs currently are extremely politically correct by default.

The small models aren’t great yet, but I think it’s smart for anyone to be getting ahead of the curve, building and experimenting with lightweight models before they blow up in popularity as people realize compute costs are unsustainable. Good on ya sir. This is fun to play with.

The app is being pushed by a few Reddit accounts. It downloads files to areas outside of its sandbox, which is a huge red flag. Having a hard time tracking down its files to remove.

Qwen 3.5 models are coming in next update, once Apple approves it :) You can also browse directly from huggingface (advanced toggle in the settings)

You’ve done very well I must admit ! However with that in mind thare are some issues mainly in voice mode we can’t use voice too ask “think harder” or the app crashes aswell when launching voice mode from a shortcut or useing it as soon as u open the app the app dose not remember too pull data from online causing false information to become a issue when just useing voice mode besides these 2 gripes amazing work and I can’t wait too see future updates!

Best LLM for iPhone
This is the best app for running local llms on iPhones by far. I have tried so many and this one tops them by a long shot. Locally ai has been my go to but this app has the great aesthetic and more models/features. All in all amazing app highly recommend!
