Bonjour, merci pour votre avis et pour avoir pris le temps de commenter. Nous souhaitons préciser que les alertes peuvent bien être adaptées aux préférences de chaque utilisateur. Dans l’application, il existe un réglage de seuil d’alerte qui permet de décider quel type d’événements recevoir et à partir de quelle intensité. Si vous souhaitez recevoir moins de notifications, vous pouvez facilement les ajuster dans cette section. Concernant les alertes reçues la nuit, les appareils Apple disposent d’options permettant de mettre les notifications en sourdine pendant la nuit, à l’exception de celles considérées comme critiques, comme celles liées à un événement solaire extrême. De cette manière, le système de notifications peut être configuré et adapté à vos besoins. À propos de l’idée que l’app serait uniquement destinée aux Nord-Américains, il est vrai qu’en Amérique du Nord il existe des cartes détaillées des réseaux électriques qui ne sont pas disponibles dans tous les pays. Cependant, toutes les autres fonctionnalités de l’application restent pleinement valables partout dans le monde. Although Solar Alert has been designed with an intuitive layout and icons, and each part of the app already includes an information button with a summary of each feature, we are working on a more complete help section within the app itself, where each element will be clearly explained. This will make it even easier to understand what everything does if you prefer having additional guidance alongside Solar Alert’s intuitive interface. Regarding loading times, Solar Alert depends on the response times of the remote solar satellite services, since the app accesses these services directly, which send real-time data about solar activity. Sometimes, if those servers take longer than usual to respond, the app has to wait for the most recent information to arrive before displaying it, and that can give the impression of “slow loading.” In upcoming versions, we also plan to further improve loading times as much as possible. Even so, the app is highly optimized and, precisely because of how it handles this real-time data, Solar Alert is the fastest app on the App Store in terms of receiving and delivering solar alerts. We will continue improving both the clarity of the interface and the performance, and your feedback helps us a lot to prioritize these changes.
Good app to follow the sun
The alerts are usually pretty accurate and it makes me feel calm knowing I can get ready if there’s a solar storm coming.
Overall, it’s really good for those of us who like to keep an eye on solar activity and how it can affect us day by day.

Navigation could be clearer

What I love most is that solar plasma monitor - sounds super technical but it's actually fascinating to see solar flares in real time. My 10-year-old son gets mesmerized watching the "explosions" lol.
The notifications are great, they alert me when there are going to be auroras and I've already gotten some incredible photos thanks to that. The panels with all the scientific data look complicated at first but once you get the hang of it it's like having NASA info on your phone.
I mainly use it to know when there will be good auroras for photography, but I've also become a bit addicted to checking the "space weather" - who would have thought the sun had so many moods 😂
The app is super smooth and you can tell it's made with love. The visual effects when there's solar activity are brutal.
If you like astronomy or you're just curious about space, definitely try it. I'm not a scientist or anything like that, but it has me hooked.

All payments are processed exclusively by Apple through in-app purchases. Developers do not see, hold, or process your payment details.
