Complication on the watch face should update with new information about every 15 minutes. Note that for this to work, your phone must be nearby to provide network connectivity. On watchOS, the background data download for complications doesn’t work if the watch is on its own on LTE. If it's not working like this for you, try restarting the watch and iPhone at the same time, then start the app again on the watch, and see if it starts updating in the background. If that doesn’t help, try unpairing the watch from the phone and pairing it again. Let me know at marconelly@gmail.com if the complication still won't update on its own even after the restart.
