What's New in Solaris

1.2.0

May 1, 2026

Solaris just got a lot more personal. New in this version: Onboarding — first time users are now guided through a personalized setup that configures skin type, activity, allergy triggers, outdoor goals and notification preferences before ever seeing the app. Setup takes under 2 minutes and makes every recommendation more accurate from day one. Home screen and lock screen widgets — add Solaris to your home screen to see your daily outdoor health score and best window at a glance without opening the app. Two sizes available: small score widget and medium score plus best window widget. Lock screen widget also available on iOS 16 and later. Availability windows — tell Solaris when you are actually free to go outside and it will only suggest outdoor windows during those hours. Set your available hours in Preferences and every recommendation — including the AI briefing and 7 day forecast — automatically respects your schedule.

Very helpful

This app has been really helpful for my parents because I am able to see if they are getting enough sun for stronger bones but not too much!
