If you have a Giv Energy solar installation and an Apple Watch then this app is an essential addition! It provides a seamless window to your inverter providing all the info you need at a glance displayed through a range of informative widgets and screens. Excellent support from the developer too, nothing is too much trouble and they are really quick to respond to any query you may have. Thoroughly recommend!

The app is great. Gives you all the data you need on the watch. Service is also 5 star should you bump into any issues.
Misleading
I deleted the app as soon as I realised that it requires a subscription to function. I prefer to be told this upfront before downloading. My policy is to delete and cancel.

Great app all the info at a glance on your Apple Watch. Love the facility that’s tells you how much time your battery has left. Can’t wait to see what the next update brings, even the subscription is worth the continued improvements not like some other apps that are put out and not updated or improved.

Have GivEnergy? Get this App
If like me you have been a little disappointed with the GivEnergy App in terms of Widgets and complications to quickly see the current status, then this App could be the one you’ve been looking for. It has not only allowed me to add widgets to my iPhone but also add a complication to my Apple Watch. It is a simple premise but the app executes it so well. The App continues to be developed and refined with recent addition of energy balance something even the GivEnergy doesn’t have, so well done to the developer for continuing to add to this great App, thoroughly recommend.

Best thing about having an AppleWatch
This app is really great. I’m obsessed with checking how my solar is getting on and when I discovered this app I was delighted that I can now see my solar from a glance at my AppleWatch! It’s brilliant! It’s my favourite app on the AppleWatch.

This is a brilliant app which fully integrates with the GivEnergy api so you get realtime data on widgets and even on the Apple Watch. Most recent version has ensured that the watch complications update regularly which is brilliant when it comes to keeping track of what your system is doing. Highly recommend!

Well worth £3. Get the GivEnergy usage all through the widget and on your phone. Superb bit of kit. Well done to the developer for knocking this up as the GivEnergy app is riddled with functionality glitches.

Great App, Great Support
This is a really useful little app, handy for keeping track of solar generation, home consumption and battery level on your phone or watch.
When I had it as a complication on my Apple Watch, it disappeared after an app update. Daniel was really helpful in working out what had happened, and helping me to get it back again. Thank you!

Initially 5 stars but now wanting a subscription
I really like did like app, it was a single one time purchase and I reviewed it as such. However since the initial purchase a subscription service is now required for full functionality. Having read other the developer’s responses such as ‘the cost doesn’t cover the apple’s developer fee’ just doesn’t cut it for me for the service offered. It’s a shame, I’d have much preferred a more expensive initial outlay rather than a continual payment for what in reality is limited functionality. I really want to support small developers but changing over from a one time purchase to a subscription within three weeks of the initial purchase comes across as unfair.

This is not a one time purchase, this is a subscription model which charges between £2-£3 per month.
Why charge to buy (download) only to insist on a subscription. It does state in-app purchases but would expect that to be for enhanced functionality not for it to work!!!

So useful! Does what GivEnergy won’t.
Such a great title app. It’s so handy to have my stats available at a glance on my Apple Watch. I don’t have a GivEnergy EV charger yet, but any chance a future version could show stats from that too?
