Why are the ratings so high??

This app hasn’t been updated in years. I’m STUCK on a full bar at level 87. I’ve sent multiple reviews and comments to the creators with no response. Now, the app won’t open at all. What crap this game is! I challenge the developers to respond at all, but mainly to respond with helpful information and when/if they ever plan to update it.
