This is supposed to be Somerset Live bit there is always so called news from outside the area. And who the hell is Peter Andre?? Nearly every day there’s trashy click bait about him or similar. Could be so much better. I’d prefer less content but of higher quality than pages bulked out with irrelevant rubbish

Frustration at most times!!
The problem is you just cannot connect and read a news story without a glitch, break up, break down, or some other tiresome, frustrating interruption. Also, why do you employ reporters who cannot spell even the most mediocre words, why, why? Did they not learn English at school? What a disappointment of a website!!

Still needs improvements
The new app layout is not bad but the comments section does not work plus live updates doesn’t show the time reverence anymore
The worst kind of sensationalism
I added this app in the hope of news in Somerset. Instead I get the worst kind of sensational journalism. This has now reached the point where I have to call a halt and delete Somerset Live from my phone. Otherwise I fear for my mental health as obviously I live in a county plagued by heatwaves ( banner headline last week - it is actually dull and wet), continual horrific accidents ( that get cleared in an hour or so) and terrible crime. Enough! The level of negativity simply jeopardises everyone’s happiness. So goodbye Somerset Live and hopefully you will one day find something happy somewhere.
