Somian is the world's first personal sleep acoustic engine. It doesn't play a loop. It composes a soundscape for you, shapes it gently through the night, and learns from every night to make the next one better.
YOUR OWN SOUND, FROM THE FIRST NIGHT
Answer a few questions about how you sleep: what you want to improve, when you go to bed, how long it takes you to drift off, how noisy your room is, how you feel when you lie down. Somian turns your answers into a first-generation sound plan with its own name, its own balance of melody and nature, and its own timing for the night.
A SOUND THAT MOVES WITH THE NIGHT
Every night runs in four phases: a soft opening, a slow fade of the melody, a quiet hold, and a gentle carry-on toward morning. Seven layers of sound, from melody and harmonic pad to rain, surf, wind and fire, change together, so the night unfolds instead of repeating.
IT EVOLVES ON ITS OWN
Connect Apple Health and Somian reads your sleep periods, stages and night wake-ups. Add a quick morning note. Each version of your sound is tested against real nights: what helps stays, what doesn't is reverted. Generation by generation, the sound becomes yours. Every change is explained, with the evidence behind it.
REAL NATURE, MIXED TO YOUR TASTE
Rain, surf, streams, wind, leaves, fan, fire and crickets are synthesized textures you can blend and tune, not stock recordings on repeat. Preview them, pick a favourite, and Somian keeps it in balance with the melody.
FROM YOUR PHONE TO YOUR WHOLE ROOM
No wearables needed. Set your phone on the nightstand and the soundscape fills the room. Plays in the background, with a full-screen night mode and a wake-time setting that eases the sound down before you get up.
SOMIAN AI (PLUS)
Say how you feel tonight. Somian AI proposes concrete changes to the sound, softer melody, fewer changes, steadier rain, and you can preview each one before you commit.
GROUNDED IN RESEARCH
Somian's design draws on a library of peer-reviewed research on sound and sleep, which you can read inside the app, including what the evidence does not support.
FREE AND PLUS
The personal sound plan, the nightly soundscape and Apple Health connection are free. Somian Plus adds autonomous evolution and Somian AI.
