Hack for parents that travel
Perfect way to record goodnight lullabies and play them during bedtime routine when one parent is traveling. Also serves as a travel sound machine!
Find your inner calm here
In my career I am required to remain constantly engaged, so this app is my preferred method of unwinding! I can control my own soundscape depending on my current emotional state. My personal favorites are moss falls and fire pit! Also, use the app to create a consistent, predictable sleep routine with your baby.

Great App
Know nothing about music, but this app is super fun to play around with and create tunes with very little effort and no know how. The ambient sounds are also very relaxing and great focus music for the doldrums of daily work.
Sanctuary in your ears — finally, a frequency that matches mine
I’m acutely sensitive to sound and not built for the open-air phone call era. I register every pitched conversation, every dog, every notification ping in a shared space before I’ve even consciously registered it. And if you’re the person on speakerphone at the coffee shop narrating your entire life to someone who didn’t ask, you are actively accelerating my loss of faith in humanity. I notice everything. It’s a gift and a curse, and it means most shared spaces feel like being asked to concentrate inside a pinball machine.
Somnideck is the first sound app that actually helps me with this.
I haven’t touched the custom track creation yet — this is purely the free version.
What sets it apart isn’t just the sound library, it’s that you can tune each track to the pitch and frequency your ears actually respond to. White noise is not one-size-fits-all, and most apps treat it like it is. Somnideck doesn’t.
Through Apple earbuds, the effect lands fast: a clean auditory boundary that quiets the chaos without replacing it with something grating.
Concentration holds. Heart rate drops. Other people’s conversations stop bleeding through. The general entropy of being alive around other humans becomes manageable.
The free version is genuinely complete and useful — also rare. I’ll be diving into the custom track tools, but I’d recommend this on the free tier alone to anyone who needs real acoustic control over their environment. For focus, for calm, for the simple relief of finally finding the right frequency.
That matters.
This app works.
Get it, try it, breathe calmly in public.

Amazing
I’m not a big music-production person, but this scratches an itch I didn’t even know I had. Its user interface is seamless, the features are engaging, and it’s helping me capture my son’s childhood voice before he gets too old. Also, I love that I can make ringtones with just a few buttons. Overall, the quality is what resonates most - Hats off to the creator. Can’t wait to see what they make next!
