About

Sonement is a fast, native controller for your Sonos system — built for people who live in their music. ONE SEARCH, EVERY SOURCE Search once and see results from every connected service, your Apple Music library, Sonos favorites and playlists — merged into one list of songs, albums, artists, playlists, stations and shows, each row badged with where it came from. Filter by source with live result counts when you want just one catalog. YOUR WHOLE HOUSE, ONE SCREEN The home board shows every room that's playing or paused, with the room you're driving out front. Pause the whole house in a tap — and undo it. Quiet rooms stay one tap away. Pin your morning station, a favorite room, or a whole zone to the Quick Rack and start your routine in one tap. ROOMS, GROUPS, ZONES Group rooms in a tap, drag volumes per speaker or for the whole group — with a master bar that always agrees with the members. Save any grouping as a Zone and bring it back later. Stale groups can quietly dissolve on their own when you want them to. APPLE MUSIC, NATIVELY Browse your real Apple Music library — playlists, albums, artists, genres — with your own subscription, and play it to your speakers. Recently Played and Top Songs are one tap from playing. BUILT FOR iPHONE A native tab shell: Home, Music, Rooms, Search. Now-playing lives on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with transport and volume controls. Hardware volume keys drive the room you're looking at. Widgets for your favorite rooms and controls. BUILT FOR iPAD A desktop-grade layout: sidebar, full-width player bar with a centered transport, and a right-hand rail carrying the queue, playlist tools and per-room audio settings — Bass, Treble, Loudness, Night Sound, Speech Enhancement, Crossfade. THE DETAILS • Queue with drag-and-drop reordering, save the queue as a playlist • Sleep timers with a live countdown, plus household alarms • Timed lyrics for the current track • Announce: speak to any room in your own voice • Listening history, per room and searchable • Light and dark mode, plus opt-in color palettes that sync to your Apple Watch • A watch app with now-playing and transport on your wrist • A fabricated demo household so you can try everything with no speakers on the network Sonement talks to your speakers directly over your home network — no account with us, nothing in between. Sonement is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sonos, Inc. Sonos is a registered trademark of Sonos, Inc. What's New in Sonement for Sonos

2.3

August 18, 2026

WHAT'S NEW IN 2.3 FILTER SEARCH BY SOURCE Search results now carry a source filter with live per-source counts. Turn off a catalog you don't want and the list rebuilds instantly — and if you filter out the source behind a merged row, playback promotes a surviving one, so a row always plays from where it says it will. Over-filter and you get a clear way back with one tap. GROUP VOLUME YOU CAN TRUST The group bar is now derived from the speakers underneath it rather than read separately, so the master and per-speaker bars can no longer disagree. If another controller — or someone's hand on a speaker — changes a level, the group bar follows immediately. LOCK SCREEN AND DYNAMIC ISLAND Now-playing with transport and volume controls on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, and volume controls added to the widget family. DARK MODE, PROPERLY VISIBLE Room cards, chips, capsules and progress tracks used a fill that all but vanished against a black background. Every one of them now uses an adaptive surface that reads clearly in dark mode — light mode is unchanged. IPAD: MUCH CLOSER TO THE MAC • The player bar adopts the Mac's three-region layout — track identity, centered transport with scrubber, volume — instead of the phone's • The right-hand rail's Audio section is real: per-room Bass, Treble, Loudness, Night Sound, Speech Enhancement and Crossfade. It previously showed a relabelled queue • A proper vertical room stepper replaces the cramped pill • The sidebar no longer draws the phone's toolbar inside its own panel • The rail's playlist picker uses the full row width A FIRST-RUN WELCOME A full-screen welcome panel with the animated orb on first launch and after an update, with proper attribution for the services you connect. TAP ART, PLAY THE SONG In Apple Music, Recently Played and Top Songs tiles now play on tap, matching every other place a song appears. Everything else stays on the menu. POLISH THROUGHOUT • One consistent page margin across every full-width surface • "Add Source" is now a button beside Connected Services, not a fake tile • Rooms opens at the top instead of part-scrolled • Larger, easier volume and transport targets • Faster now-playing updates and fewer stale reads after a track change Thanks for using Sonement. Bug reports and feature requests are always welcome.
