Better than Sonos App
This app takes the complexity out of the Sonos app and simplifies playback. Multiple room control from one simple screen, grouping, and all the music you could possibly stream all managed with a few clicks. My only reason for one less star rating is it’s not persistent in the dynamic island and I have to reopen the Sonify app from time to time to control music and volume. Perhaps there’s a workaround but with so little iOS settings for the app I don’t see how it’s possible. With no live activities I think that might be the issue. Other than that, the app is great and easily preferred over the factory Sonos app.

Has promise but bugs
Things to like:
* Well-designed and arranged interface
* Scenes are a time saver with volume presets
* Volume sync is handy
* Lock screen controls are also handy
Problems:
* Scenes threw JSON error with one iHeartRadio station and failed silently with another
* Buttons to left do not return to top level for streaming services
* Play Last inserts tracks in next position like Play Next

Needs more features
Doesn’t really do anything that the Sonos app can’t do. Wish there were additional features like shuffle albums or better view for albums that show lots of album covers in one page.
Just what I was looking for
Excellent little app. Does the things that I wish came standard with the Sonos app.
Jesus christ. Why is this not the actual sonos app
Sonos tale notes. Everything os as it should be
Gets stuck often control wise and needs to be hard closed. Doesn’t seem to handle disconnecting and reconnecting to wifi well

Exceptional
I don’t often write reviews but I have to say this app is amazing (and not just because it’s free!!!!). Its usability and interaction with iOS is top notch and you can tell the developer has really thought about its UI. I’m amazed that an independent developer can create something that is so much better than the official Sonos app and other paid apps for music playback. Bravo to you.

Stunned!
This is insane. THANK YOU for a solid Sonos controller that is the right amount feature without over-complication, clean UI and ability to change group volumes simultaneously viewing the levels of all individual speakers. Now if you could just get some extra frills by way of widgets, control center actions, shortcuts etc I’d spend some money on it!

Volume control again!
Thank you! Just discovered your app. Finally, volume control from the volume buttons on my phone, also being able to see what’s playing on my lock screen, in the notification center and dynamic Island.
Wow!
Firstly! This is the go to Sonos controller! Sleek and smooth and works well and with the latest update it brings with it party mode- which I love.
The only thing I would like- (and I can’t find an email for the developer, so sorry for putting this here), but in party mode I leave my phone locked on Sonify (using guided access) so friends can queue the music- BUT as long as they are searching for tracks it is fine- as soon as they play an album, or playlist it stops what is on and plays it straight away.
What I would love (to develop this feature) is for the app to go into ‘Jukebox’ mode which locks them into either browsing or searching tracks and doesn’t allow them to play full albums or playlists- so essentially they can view albums and playlists etc- but it will only allow them to play individual tracks (like a Jukebox would).
Maybe it could go into Jukebox mode and then needs a password or Face-ID before it goes back into normal operational mode.
Other than this- GREAT app and well done to the developer on this achievement.

Fantastic
A big upgrade from the official app. Could we please get an “open in <current service>” button for songs/albums/artists? For managing my music library through Spotify. Alternatively, the option to “like” albums in addition to songs. A share option would also give a workaround.
I am genuinely blown away by how good this app is
I am a very longtime Sonos owner, who like so many was stunned at the disgraceful way the “upgrade” was managed 18 months ago. It was arrogant and destroyed years of goodwill and loyalty for Sonos customers.
This app is all you need to bring like and commonsense usability back to listening on Sonos. Congratulations to the developer for an excellent app.

Bad update
album art no longer displays since updating
Works better than my Sonos app
I have a very large playlist that the official Sonos app refuses to play. Support said if I have a playlist of over 500 songs the app fails. This app on the other hand works well. I gave it 4 stars simply because once in a blue moon it crashes and closes itself. However I am really happy with it overall.

What did you do?!!
Lucas - go back to the previous version!! It worked great. The recently released “upgrade” is a mess. What you had before was our answer to Sonos’ terrible app. Please revert to the previous version and do ample testing before releasing a version with a ton of bugs.
Ultra-low latency, hope for HD album covers
Highly recommend Sonify! It’s an amazing music player overall with ultra-low latency and buttery-smooth performance. The whole app is well-polished and clearly crafted with great attention to detail, easily outperforming many similar apps.
One small improvement suggestion for the developers: Current album artwork is heavily compressed and looks quite blurry, which ruins the visual experience especially on high-resolution screens. It would be fantastic if you could switch to higher-quality cover sources and support HD album art.

Superior
Sonify is far superior to the Sonos app. Faster response time, great interface, iPhone’s volume control works, and Apple Watch compatibility. I swear it does not drop speakers like the native Sonos app. Great job!
Does to work at all
First of all I didn’t want to write a review I just wanted to inform the developers that it does not work on my system at all. I’m running iOS 26 on an iPhone 15. Nothing is getting populated on the screen.
Best App By Far!
Quick response, Play music on Lock Screen etc…
Not a good start
Downloaded app and permitted access to find systems but did nothing. Deleted
Excellent app - almost perfect
Everything the old Sonos app was, but better. Used SonoPhone until I saw this. Has YouTube Music support which SonoPhone doesn’t have. One gripe. Let us toggle the color of the background. Much prefer a white background to all black. Then the app would be perfect.
