v1.5.0 Improves and unifies the player opening and closing animations across iOS 17 -> iOS 26 and fixes a crash when opening the app with macOS NOTE: This release performs a key database migration which means you cannot downgrade afterwards without losing most persisted data and breaking the database. - iOS 26 has a smoother closing animation which blends better with the dark/light theme - iOS 17/18 fixes a few glitches here and there - added a menu to edit sections in Artist Detail View - added a What's New in the settings menu (tap on the App Version) - moved the settings button to a more accessible location when removed from tabbar - slightly tweaked the player and how OPUS transcoding is handled - scrolling in search view will now dismiss the keyboard - adds playlists and genres to search results - Adds a way for the Player to recover from failure

Awesome music player

Please support aac format transcode while playing.
Multi-language support such as Chinese would be very appreciated.
While add a new server, the scan process is a bit long, even though skipping is allowed. Maybe an “online type directly connected to server without scanning” is more convenient.

Does not support Airsonic.

Unusable with Airsonic (which supports the Subsonic API), gives an error about incompatible Airsonic REST protocol version, but every other subsonic client seems to work fine.
Update: developer has responded claiming that the Airsonic api is incompatible, but that is not true, Airsonic was derived from Subsonic and is still compatible with the API. And every other subsonic client I’ve tried (and I’ve tried a LOT) works just fine with it.

Update three 29/7/2026 - the reviewer has edited his review again. The fact still stands that this is an OpenSubsonic compatible client and Airsonic does not comply with the OpenSubsonic spec. Airsonic is deprecated and hasn't been updated in years. If the reviewer isn't just trolling, I would expect that he/she would remove this review since it serves no purpose. Update two 25/7/2026 - after a one second google search it seems that Airsonic does not comply with the Open Subsonic spec so is not a compatible server with this app. Hi sorry I’ve never been able to test with an Airsonic server. If I ever get the chance I will get it working. Feel free to leave feedback directly through email also if you have a way I can test on your server.
